The Raiders have had brought in some good players to go with some of the stars they have. They just need a few more talented players on the team to step up for them to have a successful year.

This draft is one of the best I've seen since the 2014 draft, and the off-season moves are better. Just need the QB and OC to do the damn thing.
I do agree, if this O- line holds up like I think it will then AOC will light it up. And with the additions added to a top 10 defense this should be a playoff year!

If you guys haven't done so yet and you are capable of doing this. Watch film on the last game of the year against Denver and Watch Tyree. This kid was triple teamed and was still folding fools back!! I was like WHAT IN THE BLACK HULK!!! 😮😮 BRUH... this kid has INSANE power/ quickness! And he now has Maxx, Koonce, and Wilkins along wirh with Graham, and NO ONE thinks this Raiders d-line will be a problem?? Okkkaaayyy!!
I like Mumford. When he stepped in while Miller went down he did a good job and he moves well in space with his speed and athleticism.
I want to see Tucker take that next step. We need his speed. I want to see if Guyton with his speed give us a duel threat on the outside w/speed.
I’m not sold on White and never really have been. I think we lost more in Jacobs than we gained in White. I’m not comfortable with the RB room. I think we’re gonna have struggles in the run game but that’s just my opinion which means absolutely nothing I know… great Job Carl.
I'm not here to tell you what to think but always remember these are young players we're talking about. They can still improve by leaps and bounds.

Very true Carl- all we need is a bunch of guys to step up and all be amazing to be set.
I grew up in Vegas, so understanding the odds just happens naturally.
A couple of them will but all? I hope so. I hang most my hopes on the defense being amazing and keeping other teams punting often, and am glad we have the punter we do.
The rest of the hope is they actually run the two TE set very often and get amazing at it, because our offensive line lands ranked around 16 in the nfl and thats where we tend to get- about 16th place usually.
I am really hoping 3 offensive lineman and a Aiden all make the biggest improvements of their lives between now and game 1.

Wilkins & Butler will allow everyone off the edge to eat wagyu all season .We should be in the top 5 in sack top 10 in ints with Webb , Bennett,Jack on the outside and Hobbs permanently in slot coverage.

Tucker needs to be on the field to establish the Vertical Game on the first play of the game... Like Al Davis said, its like having The Bomb, and not being afraid to use it. Tucker strikes fear in the hearts and minds of opposing defenses, and O'Connell has the arm strength and accuracy to hit him deep and should go for the knockout punch early, opening up the field for Adams and Meyers, and the one-two punch of Mayer and Bowers, and keeping the Safeties out of the box.
Al Davis cared only about speed & that killed the team for years. Completely Disagree with this comment. You need to establish the run then you take your deep shots

Great insight to how Tyree was coached, if he's redshirting stick to the plan...of course circumstances are going to change during season as a staff you know this, or should, it's rarely in the players long term interest to deviate from the original plan, he's redshirt for a reason, every player is going to tell their coaches yup I'm ready .....hopefully this is how it went down because the young man was woefully outclassed, the tape doesn't lie....and that injury is a serious matter that takes time to recover from before explosion returns, I pray it does for Mr Wilson's sake....

Tyree should be much improved, but who knows if he'll before the Edge we'd want him to be. If Koonce plays as well as he did in the second half of last season, will we be able to afford keeping him? We'll need to pay Hobbs and have to make decisions on a few others also. Can't wait for training camp and then the offseason to get a look at these young guys
Wilkins and Powers Johnson were excellent additions to the Raiders. I was hoping theyd pick Arnold at CB in the draft but now we have depth at TE...if one gets injured we still have another and they can go 2 TE offense at times

What do you think of signing the St. Louis Battlehawks WR Hakeem Butler? I'm a fan of the team and watch their games. The dude is 6'5" and 225. You can't coach that size. He's still just 28 has NFL experience and in my opinion he has gotten better. I will link to some highlights of him and watch how about half of them are in the Red Zone. What has killed the Raiders offensively the last several years? We kick FGs instead of scoring TDs. It's why Carlson was a Pro Bowl PK one year; we couldn't get the ball into the Endzone. As WRs we have Adams, Meyers, Tucker and some hopefuls. This guy can rotate in, be used mostly in the Red Zone, and provide quality backup if a WR or TE gets hurt to provide a big target. If Minshew starts or plays any significant amount of snaps, remember that his best target in Indy was Pittman, who is is large WR. Can you imagine a 2-TE package with Mayer, Browers, and then Butler in the slot?? The guy won't demand too much money to get back into the NFL and he's a low-risk, high reward type of signing that could really push our offense into another level.

As a fellow Iowa State alum like Butler I like this a lot. I hoped the Raiders would draft him when he came out but IRC AZ snagged him and I think he was injured before getting a real chance. In college he was Mossing people and I’d love to see him do that in Silver and Black.

Too much was made of Tyree's slow start to the season. He was not ready, period. a full offseason of training with Crosby and Wilkins will have him beasting and feasting this year. for that matter, I predict all of our 2nd year guys will take the next step and our rookies will come out firing.

right. real talk now... we are predicted 6.5 games. Thats down. so we got worse. These people are paid A LOT because getting this wrong could cost these people MILLIONS/BILLIONS. So the BEST minds in the game this we are 1.5 games worse... Meanwhile the Chargers are at 8.5 (3.5 MORE wtf!). On opening day we are 3/2 to win... that's ridiculously. To be Odds against in a two horse race means these "specialist" think we SUCK. Normally both sides are odds-on. *we've been betting a lot longer in the UK so I have 30 years experience in using these markets to predict whats going on. SAYING ALL THAT - I dont believe it. we beat the chargers by a record margin. The teams are not that different. Same QBs as last year. And we both made improvements and we are 3/2 (or x2.5) for the win Chargers are odds-on @ 3/5 (x1.6) That is Crazy in a two horse race. Crazy. In soccer games you get one team at 15/9 and the other at 7/5. the teams have to be at different ends of the league to get these odds. This is either an awesome bet or WE SUCK and we are talking our own way into hype.

@raiderdevellian5752 I haven't seen any edge rushers that don't naturally have pass rush moves all of a sudden develop them in the 20 something years I've been watching the game. He has a powerful bull rush tho I'll give him that. Might be all he needs now that he's healthy & in shape

O'Connell last year played like he wasn't a typical rookie. He had a rough start but that's normal for a rookie. Once he got more playtime, he played much better.

If he had a chance to train for the season, you could say that but he didn't. They put him out there out of shape. They were supposed to start playing him at the end of the season but Chandler Jones went crazy.
