Top 10 HARDEST Raps of Mirabel (Family Madrigal | Encanto)

- NAMASTE YALL!
It's been a while since I made a video ranking anything. It might take me a longer while to do a full ranking perhaps, so I made this little top 10 for now.
Certainly Señor Linh Manuel Miranda went ALL OUT in this soundtrack, and since he loves himself some good rapping, he legit gave Mirabel one of the first rap climaxes in a disney song, and that too so hella freaking difficult to execute!
My props to every artist who worked on adapting their song and particularly this rap in their language, as well as to the artists who dared to try this. In this video I only include 10 of these languages, and ranked them on the basis of the number of syllables they managed to incorporate and phrase in the final portion of the rap. That being said, I also didn't include any two languages with the same number of syllables, for the sole reason that, I find literally ALL the raps hard, literally all, and so I took this opportunity to discover the different kind of rhythm patterns that different languages tried to attempt by either reducing or increasing the number of syllables, and included a diversity of rhythm patterns in this ranking. Some completely followed English, some started a bit late, some phrased it with pauses, while others phrased it nearly one breath and, they are ALL very hard renditions in their own rights! I just showed the ones I found the most striking to listen to, and which I perceived as hardest personally.
Hope you all enjoy the video. Feel free to pause the video in between if you want to take a breath from Mirabel relentlessly rapping for over 2 minutes straight XDD

Ukrainian, Polish, Finnish, Dutch, Thai, Hungarian and Taiwanese Mandarin. ;)
I'm part Romanian, part Dutch and part English! I'm so happy to see you have mentioned Romanian and Dutch, especially Romanian, because nobody talks about it very much (my point of view)!
It seems to me that the Polish version should even be in the 10th, if you understand this language, you can hear that the entire rap of Mirabel quite breaks the tongue ha ha.
u forgot german.
I am Chinese
Hungarians are everywhere when it comes to difficulty.
I absolutely love how consistent her voice is throughout different languages.
There definitely has been an increase in quality of the varying voice actors, I first noticed this in Luca when we watched it in french, their voice actors were practically identical to the English version, I was amazed
This! I also love how while they stay consistent, all of the actors really make mirabelle unique in different ways

This has actually been a requirement from Disney for at least the last ten years. The dubbed voices have to match as closely as they can the original voice in English or they don’t approve the dub
I have a friend who's first language is Indonesian and he could barley tell what she was saying! The actress did an incredible job with that part, it must have been super difficult.
It kinda means exactly the same thing in English.

Sepupu Dolores mendengar nyanyiannya dari jauh
Dan Tuan Mariano menikahlah dengan saudaraku asal kau tahu sebuah rahsia dia itu primadona ah tak perlu banyak ngomong, terima kasih ya aku harus pergi

Being a native Spanish speaker, I can say it almost perfectly in a few tries, most of it got me stuck, it seems like a tongue twister, it was a very complicated challenge for Olga Lucía Vives, Mirabel's voice is Spanish

Naturally, as a German Speaker, I counted the syllables for the German version and in fact, they stuck perfectly to the original as the German version actually also has 49 syllables. And they also did everything they could to maintain this same amount of syllables, as they actually used unnecessary words like "ey" or "oh".
ok, yeah, just checked it myself...

Bit of a difference in syllable spread, but still damn close.
@@notAshildr Yup, I really appreciate how, despite the difference in syllable spread, they still threw in these few extra words to achieve the same syllable count nonetheless. That sorta stuff is why I really love the German translations of the Encanto songs, as they got a pack of new translators who actually tried hard, other than Tommy Amper in the previous Disney Movies did.
You’re so lucky to speak German ! I started learning this but despite knowing quite a few languages that could help, it’s really hard 😅 (I’m in the 7th grade in a French school and we could choose a few languages this year !)

This is a stupendous idea for a ranking. Despite having watched my version (Italian) for quite a lot of times I still not only can't follow the rythm, but either understand what she's saying if I haven't the lyrics to watch! Awesome video, as always, and now I'm gonna go cry over the idea of Tissa rapping 53 syllables💀
Thank you! I actually had to pause the Italian rap for a second cuz I lost my breath listening to Ms. De Risi singing that whole part without a single pause lmao. Absolutely phenomenal job done by her and the lyricist!
Io ormai ho imparato a cantarlo e infatti ci riesco (qualche vita con qualche errore ma vb) infatti mo non mi sembra tanto veloce ma le prime volte non riuscivo a capire niente

I wish Japanese was mentioned because extremely fast lyrics don't flow as well so I’d say that's one of the hardest imo
Yes. East Asian countries have unique structure to their language that one sentence cant be made by just putting together standalone words. They need some in-between word, and that fact alone will blow anyone trying to rap that lightning fast part of the song.

Let's just appreciate that Romanian was finally added to the list. I barely see anyone commenting about this language and i (Romanian) think it is a very beautiful language, even though you can't hear it very well in movies.
Oh my god yes! Romania is one of those countries people BARELY talk about. Im a person who likes to study different areas aside of my own (and one of my favourite actors were born there guess who) but Romania is BARELY talked about! Its a beautiful language, country, etc and I myself would like to fo there! Youre cultured and now my friend. take it or take it 😂
Motivul pentru care un dub în română se aude încet e pentru că românii noștri ori nu știu să vorbească mai tare, ori nu știu să editeze audioul original ca să se audă traducerea mai bine, ori folosesc un software foarte antic și nu pot face mare brânză
@@selfryed I swear, Romania is very rarely talked about, despite being a very fascinating country. I think the cause is the bad reputation we got. Most people asociate romanians with stealing, which isn't true at all. It breaks my heart seeing that my country is being slept on. Our traditions are very beautiful, our foods tasty, and we are one of those countries that puts the family above all, like we care a lot for our families
@@elysian.diam0nd Exactly! Starting to get tired of people's stereotypes...they get on my nerves i mean, who in their right mind would think ALLLL Romanians steal. Thats like saying all black people eat fried chicken and watermelon like wtf?

That's how this part sounds on the Russian:

Cousin Dolores will hear your voice from behind the fields (Mirabel)
And this Mr. Mariano wants to marry my sister, but (Mirabel)
I warn you, diva prima dona, you have to forget and in general it's time for me to go home (Mirabel)

Telegu’s version is the love child of a rap and a tongue twister
Fr tho! I could understand it..but the last part was so fast I could never!!
Always getting chills when she raps "Cousin Dolores can hear this whole chorus a mile away"😅
Mirabell's voice in Indonesian is perfect for her character 🤩🤩✨✨
I actually found the English one pretty easy, idk why it was third-
But then again, it’s the only language I speak 🤷♀️
It's third because they're ranked in order of the number of syllables in the rap.
Bonus points to Stephanie Beatriz for recording that song while several months pregnant 👶🏽💗
English is actually a very hard to learn. About all of its silent es and more. So I guess where lucky for English being our first language
@@Maggie_sauce it actually depends on what native language you have. Me being from Germany have an easier time then some other country because its already similar in some places same with other languages.
Some people have an easier time learning a different language because there native is quite the same (hope it makes sense)
@@zunknown ok! I get it thanks for the information 😃
Can we just talk about how beautiful Mirabel’s voice is in Georgian?
Thank you! (I'm a Georgian)
Yeah, omg it’s so beautiful! She nailed that part!
I practiced the english version for 1 entire week!
The hardest parts for me are "I've got sisters and cousins and", "won't stop until he makes you smile" and "can hear this whole chorus"
I was learning this song in Spanish, at this point I can sing the whole song, but sometimes I struggle with the sisters and cousins part too, it’s the “me pidieron que contara todo” and “y ya hablé de más mil gracias”
props the voice actor for indonesian not giving up like that must have been horrifying to see the sheet music and know you have to keep up with the music with all of those syllables
As someone who had Indonesian as their first language, i understand what she was saying. The actress is very talented cause rap like that, needs real skills 👍
I feel accomplished because i can say it in english 😌
Congratulations!
Next step, instead of 'saying' it, try 'singing' it. ^_^
@@rishabhrox1 😵
@@rishabhrox1 It's so easy to sing once you're able to remember exactly what she says. My six year old sister mastered it not even two days after I did. I was surprised to see that it's one of the hardest when it's so easy. Maybe if you counted tongue twisters and rhythm, the order would've been more accurate. I find it hard to believe that the English was third. Good video either way!

The Italian part is so hard to sing, I was expecting it to be high up on the list. It has so many syllables in a lot of it’s single words, it’s a very hard language dub, let alone sing/rap like this.

Indonesian translation:
My cousin Camilo will make you smile today
My cousin Dolores can hear the singing from afar
Hey! Mr. Mariano, please marry my sister as long as you know a secret, she is a primadonna. No need to talk much, thank you, I have to go!

Also, the clips are exactly 10 seconds apart, which is kinda trippy when skipping around.

I'm Indonesian 😐 But, I think Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Korean are still more difficult. Many other languages are more difficult too.
Btw itu tuh bukan masalah difficult nya. Jadi kata kata nya di hitung ,Nah indo lumayan banyak kata katanya cmiiw :v
i think its more about how many syllables
Ini kayaknya dari suku kata nya deh, yang versi indo ada 53 suku kata... Jadi per sekon itu lebih cepat, rap nya dapet banget... Gitu kayaknya deh
I'm Indonesian & this is still pretty hard lol. Also they just counted the words, not the overall language.
Indonesia orangnya cerewet, jadi ini bukanlah "hard things" bagi orang Indonesia XD *canda bang
Imagine how hard it must be to sing all of that
As someone who speaks Italian and who can rap that whole thing (in English and Italian) I have to say bravo! 🙌 I can’t do it that fast. And I’m so glad that my main language came in third and my second language came in second!
As an Indonesian, it's very difficult. I've tried it a few times and it work. (Took me about 50 actual tries)
I'm an English speaker and what's hard is not only going at such a fast speed, but making it sound clear. I was amazed when I heard Stephanie sing this song for the first time. You understood every single word, even without subtitles. That's talent!
I was actually expecting Indonesia to be the last one, I'm Indonesian and hearing the dubbed version of Indonesian is yeah, very impossible. I think the voice actor tried their best to sing it even though it sounds bad but it's fine
The voice of Georgian sounds so beautiful! A very unique voice ❤️
As an italian its true i cant even imagine singing at that speed those people Are talented

Linguist here: technically this doesn't measure how hard something is, as syllables can be simple or complex, many (but not all) of the languages in this video have very simple syllables compared to English so they can say more syllables with less difficult, compare how hard it is to say:

2) stretch-stretch-stretch-stretch (4 syllables)

PLEASEEEEEEE
As a person that have indonesia as their first language its crazy how the actor did it
But to be honest i think its the famous voice actor that voiced most cartoon in indonesia
Cause seriously i heard her voice everywhere
I remember watching the movie in theaters and being so lost at what was happening and it took me to watching it on Disney + to find out what she was even talking about
POV: im italian and I understood a little bit of what Mirabel said LOL
My native language is Romanian. It's very easy(for me).Plus some words of Romanian are similar to english words or romanian to spanish.🎭
Yay you actually included Romania! I'm from there!
i just realized that right as she says "mister mariano between you and me you can marry my sister if you wanna" isabela walks in the back of her like such perfect timing
If Tagalog dub will streamed
Me: I wish the dubber of Mirable in Tagalog will be okay.
Telgu is so hard-
The va's really did a great job!
