I have had a boot thing ever since I was in diapers; 50-something years later, that thing has not faded in the least. The Wellys and croc-patterns shown here are tops on my list; with the full-length zippers (which is how all zipper styles should be) they are very easy to don and doff, no matter what outfits go with them. The crocs have the added advantage of having very effective defense weapons should a need arise. The short woven ones are really hot-looking as well for short boots, also for the defense heels and the full-length zippers. The Western ones right after are really hot, too; I've always liked metallic detailing on the toes. Besides my super-long Fernando Berlins (I have three pair of those, two slightly-different Model 115s and one recently-acquired Model 590), there is one boot that has been a staple in my wardrobe for years, although I have had issues with the workmanship (but not to the point that I wouldn't get replacements). They are not of a particular brand name; Chi-Comm boots don't have brand names. But these are of a long length going just over the knee, made of actual leather (the most durable part of them), a 1-1/4" Cuban-style heel with gold accent, and a metallic gold-colored, full-length zipper placed on the outside of the shaft. Not a year has gone by that they failed to attract attention on the street. About 7 years ago these were rather big on the auction sites, with an optional higher-heel (about 4") variant and synthetic material (vinyl as opposed to leather, at a reduced cost). Now, only the low Cuban-heel version can be had, and only in leather...but the prices have gone down significantly from 7 years ago. Fortunately, they are still available through the auction sites, and still offered in my size.
I was in two minds whether to go with the kind of army greenish or beige colours in the chunky boots because I have stuff that goes well with both but I went for the beige in the end because I got a lovely oversize beige (cream?) blazer from I saw it First. I dont know what came over me but I just decided I have been locked down or in too long so I went mental online. I pretty much missed last year because of Covid and the fact I have bronchitis and asthma but I have had 2 flu vaccines and 2 Covid vaccines since then and I am dying to get out...even if its only to look round the shops up West...it just feels like an eternity! Thanks for the video...its a bit like Christmas (which we also missed lol!). I always was a DM girl right back to my youth but I wont scare you with that! I had the shoes, the ankle boots and the really long ones (same length as your wellies) at one time or another (I used to be able to tell you how many lace holes but not now).
i clicked this so fast, i loved last years video ive been trying to find those black welly boots recently but cant seem to 😭 i saw the pretty little thing pair the other day, might just grab them since they're on sale but i don't care for the pull tab in the front and im obsessed with the wavy platform on the bershka pair 🥰

Yes i must admit the knee high styles can be difficult, I think they would look better with black jeans but I wanted to show the contrast of the boots so they stand out 😊 but tjey would look better with all one colour matching!

The last 10 years or so I always grabbed my camel timberlands and jodhpur boots, and rarely my over knees sand wedge boots black over knees heels. The last are so beautiful I don’t want to sell it even though it’s kinda high for me and not trendy anymore. Such a dilemma 😅 I definitely would try the doc martens and the beige Zara boot ☺️
