  • In this video, I show how I built my own 2x72 belt grinder, a great tool for knife making, metalwork, and woodworking. I used plans from HouseMade, and I made some small changes to fit my needs. I’m using a 2 HP, 3-phase motor with a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) for smooth and adjustable speed control.
    A big thanks to HouseMade
for creating the amazing plans! It made the process much easier and fun.

Angle grinder is one of the most valuable tools for metal fabrication shops, welding shops. Your belt grinder looks great nice work.

Crazy what you can do with drill press, welder and an angle grinder. Really cool. Would have been really cool to overlay some plans here and there to see what the all the parts are for. Either way nice work! Cool video

Yes it is fun and there are a lot of pieces.similar to Jigsaw Puzzles But here you have to make the piece, measure it and then assemble it.
I'm glad you liked the video.Thank you

You should have put a warning on this video. I almost had a heart attack when I realised you were going to be hand filing the inside wild seams of that tubing!

Your too poor to have a metal cutting chop saw? You don't need a grinder yet!

Didn’t realize tool choices determined wealth-guess I’ll stick to being 'poor' and actually building something while you’re 'rich' and just commenting.
