That was the most chill pride takeover, full of food and love. I think the collared lion wants to join those 2 young brothers and form a coalition. Great footage, always top notch, as usual, and well narrated. Thank you ❤😊🦁🦁🐾
Awesome sighting, time will tell if they would chase the other lion away or tolerate him being there. Thanks again for a awesome program. Jeep safe and God Bless.
Thank you, awesome footage. Yea, looks like the collared male, is doing his thing, maybe to show those other two big boys, hey, I'm not a push over. Also the lioness's are mine, as I helped them bring down this kill.. Looking forward to the next video / update.
The three male lions look to be between 4-5 years old no much scaring on their faces so look to be relatively inexperienced , also there does not seem to be any cubs around, so if they are taking over at least no cubs will be killed, the females judging by their white teeth do not look to be too old either, did these females not already have a pride male(s) , where are the collared lion's partners? Excellent video.❤
We can see you know your lion natural history :-) Given that these are intruder lions and the vastness of the Delta makes it hard to really get to grips with all the dynamics on the go amongst lion prodes and coalitions, its hard to keep track of who is who but sometimes the mystery (not knowing every animal in an area) keeps things more interesting and also reminds us what true wilderness is like. Thanks for your comments.
Harri has had so many amazing wildlife encounters in recent months, I think she'd find it hard to choose just one! She often references "wow, havent seen this before" or "gosh, I don't know where to look right now" so I think her "most fascinating moment" is an evolving concept that changes daily - go back and watch some of the previous episodes to catch a few missed moments but also look forward to some upcoming Galapagos content which certainly has Harri "wowwing!!" ;-)
They are intruders to the region... havent been encountered often in this part of the Delta - its so wild and expansive that this is one special trait of the Delta, encountering animals never before seen there.

Nature at its best
It’s really intense watching the lions fight for dominance.

A very private look into the lives of a take over of a pride of lionesses without cubs.
