    Hi, Italian here. Things changed a lot with this fucking pandemic, now for a lot of places (restaurant, bar, cinema, theatre, ect...) you need to present the so called green pass, a document who certified you to be vaccinated against covid19, or a negative test in the last 36 hours if i'm not wrong. Hope it helps

    I have a question: I’m planning a trip in Italy for next year. I really wanna visit Florence, Rome and Venice so I was thinking about staying a week in each city? Do you think it’s a good idea? Second question! If we do that, should we stay in one hotel the three weeks were there or should we stay in a different hotel in each city?

    • @Roamaroo
      @Roamaroo  4 года назад +4

      a week in each city.. WOW.. that's amazing! That is a great way to see all those locations. You'll likely need a new hotel in each city. I would recommend looking for AirBNB's if you like to use those.

      Hi! Not sure if you've already planned a trip but I actually went on a very similar trip prior to the pandemic in Jan 2020. We flew into Venice for our first stop and stayed only 3 nights. Then we took a train to Florence and stayed 3 nights. Took a train to Rome and stayed 3 nights as well. We also flew from Rome to Sicily and stayed for 4 nights, and then flew back to Rome to go home. My advice is a week is a great amount of time for each place. We felt very rushed trying to fit everything in, but we also didn't have the budget to stay that long haha. If you can manage it, definitely try to! Personally I didn't feel the need to stay longer in Rome though, and looking back I wish we did 5 nights in Florence and Venice each. But definitely look into AirBnBs in each city because they seem to be cheaper than hotels most of the time. And hosts can give you really great recommendations of where to eat and visit around the area. Hope this helps!

      @@ryannicoletti7093 I put the planning on pause due to covid but your idea does sound wonderful! Just about 3-4 days in each area would be nice! Airbnb is really cheap if you stay a month, that's why I was aiming for more time in Italy (: Taking a train from city to city sounds amazing too! It does help, thank you!

    Hello! I will be traveling to Italy this summer for my birthday. We are staying for 12 nights, and are at the point of choosing what we want to see the most. We want to go to Pisa, but our agent and friends say there isn't much to see there except for the tower. Our friends recommended the five villages of Cinque Terre. Have you been there before? If so, do you think it would make a better day trip?

    • @Roamaroo
      @Roamaroo  5 лет назад

      Skip Pisa, not worth it. Hike Cinque Terra if you can, or stay at one town and do day trips to the others. Our biggest recommendation is don't try to see everything.. For 12 nights, try to limit yourself to 3 spots max.. Because you lose a day every time you move between locations.

    Question!!!!! (if you even see this) I'm planning a 14 day trip, landing in Rome and leaving 14 days later in Barcelona. Is this a good idea? To drive all of Italy, France and down to Spain? Just hotel hopping and driving the roads? This is a rare trip opportunity and want to see the most possible.

    • @Roamaroo
      @Roamaroo  5 лет назад

      Wow.. you really can't go wrong with either of those. IMHO, Italy has better food but Greece has more islands you can hop around on. My #1 recommendation is to take it slow wherever you go. Since most people are going for a 10 days, try to limit your spots to 2 stops. Don't try seeing 5 cities in 1 week this leads to a very stressful vacation. To help you decide where to go, try reaching out to hotels in either destination and see if they will give you a discount.

    • @Roamaroo

      Create a printed out card or something on your cell phone that discusses your disease in Italian. Depending on how extreme it is, you can tailor the warning to that. Many restaurants in Italy have gluten free pasta. Otherwise, enjoy the delicious meats, fish, cheese, and fresh vegetables!
