Great question! If we had more time we would have. We wanted to get off the beaten path and figured since we were visiting Cinque Terre we were already getting some of that coastal fishing village vibes. We are so glad we checked out Sardinia, we definitely feel it’s underrated. Hopefully next trip we make our way to the Amalfi coat. Instead of visiting Sardinia you could go down to the Amalfi coast than continue the rest of the itinerary in the video. Thanks for watching!
Amazing video indeed! And I'd like to congratulate on your planning. October is much less crowded than July-August even if ther could be some risks of heavy showers particularly in the Northern part of Italy. Furthermore your itinerary has been a perfect mix of some very well known and popular places, like (obviously) Venice, Rome and also Cinque Terre, some places that are now becoming trendy but have been out of radar (at least for American tourists) like the Dolomites and some parts of Tuscany (like Saturnia and fascinating Pitigliano) and finally Sardinia and its inredible coast that is still almost neglected by US visitors. Amalfi Coast, Positano, Capri, Pompei, Sicily and Apulia are also beautiful and fascinating places to visit, but my suggestion is to plan attentively avoiding the peak season to avoid the crowds! Great video and ... keep on traveling!
May be I was lucky today! Coz I landed on to this video. First of all, if I am able to appreciate it enough, both of you sound so calm and patient while describing your experience. Personal request - do not ever let this go :) We are travelling to Italy in August and we are afraid if we will still be able to get away (atleast a little bit) from the crowds. But nevertheless. Great work :) When I am in your city, I am buying beer :)
Thank you so much for this. Thisnis exactly what we needed to hear being small creatives on this very large competitive platform. I truly hope you guys have a wonderful trip! Thanks again, and hope we do one day cross paths!🍻🤙🏼
Just found you guys and all I want to do is travel the world! Your channel is a godsend and so helpful so thank you ♥️ Just planning a trip to Italy and we’re going to road trip so this was perfect 🫶🏼
Great video! I’m going to try and stick close to your itinerary. Swapping Sardinia for Florence. (Spoilt living in Australia with better beaches). Thanks for the inspiration!
We used Autovia through Discover Cars and it costed us around $580 for 14 days. I would recommend using Kayak and finding the cheapest option on there. Have a great trip!
Wow this is such an informative video. I mean you guys did film this so well thank you so much . I have few questions to ask if thats okay . Can you please recommend Car rental place to drop up and pick up i mean exact location And also wanted to ask if you could share around the video time 8;16 which hotel is that you stayed in the view is amazing thank you :)
Thank you so much! 🤙🏼 we used autovia I believe and picked up from the main train station in Rome and then dropped it off at the Venice airport. Hope this helps!
Maybe this is a video idea 🤔 we honestly haven’t added everything all up yet so I’m not sure. I’m thinking around 4K for the both of us including flights. Thanks for watching!
Overall great! I think we were one of the lucky ones because I was reading some horror stories about auto via. I would say just be careful cover all your bases. Make sure you have proper insurance, international driving permit, and most importantly take good before and after photos of the rental. Hope this help! Have a great trip! 🤙🏼
Just so that you know, there is a mistake where you mentioned you stayed at a hotel called San Theodoro in Sardinia. The area is called San Theodoro but there's no hotel with this name. I'm planning my trip to Italy now, I was curious what hotel you stayed at in Sardinia.
@@WalkerAndCiara hey! My fiancé and I are thinking of doing a very similar itinerary to you for our honeymoon with very similar dates - 7-28th October this year. However we were worried that if we didn’t fit in the Dolomites early on in the trip that a lot of facilities would be closed … however your itinerary kind of has it toward the end of the trip … did you have any trouble with facilities on the mountain being closed?
Aloha, we didn’t have any issues! Seemed like there weren’t many tourists visiting at the time and some of the restaurants were closed but still plenty of options. Also the fall colors were amazing. If planning on doing Seceda I believe the chairlift was closed when we were there but we opted for sunrise so that didn’t matter anyways. Hope this is some help, have a great trip!

Ummm wtf? The guy pooped in the sea right next to other people snorkeling? If that's true, that is so unsanitary, nasty and unacceptable. Seriously! You're an adult, hold it in. Gross. Worst case no choice scenario - go in the bushes and dig a hole and bury your poo. How is no one talking about this in the comments!?

Absolutely, we would’ve loved that. I’m sorry if you feel we are promoting over commercialism in your country, that wasn’t our intention. We had an amazing trip and wanted to help others plan for theirs. Thanks for the tips 🙏
