Eric Gales is one of the best players on the planet. He's one of the few guitarists around who gets a great tone that's cutting, but not overly distorted, and his phrasing and feel are incredible. Beyond that, he sure knows how to work a crowd!
I totally agree about the guitar tone. So many players are over distorted, but Eric's tone is always cutting, but clean in it's own way. And what a player!
