I enjoy cleaning the pitch off em after every sesh
Will you review the AG variation? Of course it’s a Different soleplate, but how does that effect the boot as a whole? (I.e. differences in the stiffness/flexibility, shape, heel lockdown, etc.)
Just got my hands on the AG variation of these and it was very similar to the vapor 14 ag plate. Great stiffness and snapback for an ag boot, and studs were perfectly safe size and shape.
I bought the AG version to use on artificial pitches, have to say these are one of the comfiest boots i have ever worn, and I would wear these over my puma ultra/mercurials/phantom gt(all elite versions). Amazing shoe. Also I went half a size down and first and the shoes were too tight, true to size worked best for me.
How is it compared with the Mercurial 15 in terms of traction, responsiveness, cushion, and fit and comfort? I really liked the mercs because of their air zoom midsole, but not sure if the Mizuno Alpha can beat that.
Josh, review the AG model. I literally bought it as soon as I saw $160. There's no external heel counter, different sole plate, and no insert but maybe you can go further into detail. hi im just curious. does the colorway make a difference for a football boot? for example do you get a slightly different experience with different colorways but the same boots?
It does sometimes. The best examples of this are the Mercurial Vapor 13 and 14 Elite. I’ve had several pairs in different colorways of both models. I noticed the colorways with a clear polyurethane coating feel more flexible and softer out of the box than a colorway with a solid colored coating. The Spark Positivity Superfly 8 felt firmer and slightly thicker than the Volt yellow Vapor 14s I had, which felt much softer and flexible form brand new. Those Superfly 8s have the same Vaporposite upper, but the solid color polyurethane coating and the extra graphics make the upper feel both stiffer and ever so slightly thicker, when compared to a standard colorway. Same thing with the Flyknit based Vapor 13 the clear coated colorways (the ones were you can see the high tenacity yarns in the upper) were more flexible and easier to break in than the ones with a solid colored coating.
Is there any noticeable difference in the responsiveness or forefoot snapback in the Elite vs the MIJ since the Elite does not have the forefoot KaRVO insole board?
They have a turf pro model, but looking at the specs (Engineered Mesh, internal frame, Zeroglide heel liner), the upper should be very close to what's on the FG Elite models

Mizuno for the win!!
Is the snapback in the soleplate as good in the ag version? And what's the weight difference?
You're the man 💪
I don't know about the fg model, but I just got my hands on the ag model and it's very similar to the vapor 14 ag plate.
hi im just curious. does the colorway make a difference for a football boot? for example do you get a slightly different experience with different colorways but the same boots?
How would that even work
No it doesn’t
11:09 10 ounces weight difference, just 283,495 grams
If I’m wearing mercurial nike 8.5uk, what size should i buy for this mizuno alpha?
Thanks
Same size 👍
Would I get the same size as the Morelia neo?
That's what I do and would also recommend 👍
how much does the ag weight though
Wish they made the Elite in TF
They have a turf pro model, but looking at the specs (Engineered Mesh, internal frame, Zeroglide heel liner), the upper should be very close to what's on the FG Elite models
Any body have the elite and the mij ? What’s the difference and is the mij worth it over the elite
Omg! 160 for the AG!?
these or vapor 15 pros?
The Alphas for sure!
