Everyone Loves C418 but oh my god do I love this song. It captures everything so well and It will be iconic in the future. It grew on me so much and it does not deserve hate
I've played Minecraft since it was a developmental release in 2009. C418 established the foundation of the tone for this game - I don't like the hints at corporate alienation and exile in regard to his contributions (or lack thereof now) going forward, but this breathes new life into the game. It's simply stunning; gentle, peaceful, calming and emotive - exactly the mood you expect for Minecraft. There's room for all sorts of ambience in this vast, procedural world, and I enjoy all the offerings I receive.
I opened the MC menu and all I hear was the new MC soundtrack and I started crying because the music of c418 is slowly disappearing 😭😭 C418 u will always be remembered in the MC community always,😖😖
Aerie honestly fills me with nostalgia, being able to go back to looking at old games, and just thinking about the older days, really just the best thing ever, perfect for anytime. Also just really good to listen to if you feel down, Lena Raine did a amazing job on producing this piece that's for sure, and lovely slowed down version also that has been made here.
This music reminds me of the old days and beautiful snowy days of Winter. snow snowflakes falling and the soft blankets of snow covering sleeping animals in beyond :)

the slight pitch shift that came with the slow down makes the synth a lot better imo, normally i think it's a little annoying so i replaced it with a cover i found on youtube in game lol
Even though this song doesn't have the same memories as c418's work, it has that same nostalgic feel, and we all crave nostalgia. It's a melancholic feeling: you can't tell if you are happy that it has happened, or sad that it's not happening now. The thing is that in about 5 years from now, if you live your life to the fullest now you will look back at these times with nostalgia, but only with those happy feelings, I can promise you that. It doesn't matter what is happening to you now, whether you've lost your entire family or you have just been married to the person of your dreams, keep your head up and look on the light side. Sadness just leads to sadness and likewise, happiness leads to happiness. Anyways, what I'm getting at is stay positive, even if the going gets tough. A tree's roots must reach hell before the leaves can reach heaven. It doesn't matter who you are, you deserve a happy life, much love to all of you ❤❤
