Born 1993, when I was around 5/6 me and my family had to move to Germany, Osnabruck because my Dad was stationed there for being in the British Army. We stayed there until 2001. I can honestly say from what memories are still there in my head, are the best years of my life. If I could just relive those days, just for a few hours, I would be so happy. I spend hours crying happy/sad tears on Google Earth Pro with the time machine of the maps. Seeing my old Primary School before it was demolished. Seeing the Army barracks my dad was at before that too was sadly demolished. Seeing my old childhood home which I haven't seen since we left 23 years ago. It's even more saddening with how Germany's privacy laws are. Google Street view is practically none existent. So the buildings and the streets I fondly remember are mainly just these pixelated resemblances of buildings that I still vividly remember from my childhood but I can't see how are now or was a few years ago. I only have what I remember, and the odd remnants of videos here on RUclips which is extremely lacking and rare to find Thankfully some time last year, Germany finally lifted those privacy laws for Google Maps Street view and i finally got to see my home again for the first time since we all left way back in 2001. I will be honest. I've never cried so much in such a long time. It was harrowingly different everywhere i looked around Osnabruck but I could also see things that haven't changed at all. The walks we went on, the Warner Brothers Movie Theme Park down south near Dorsten. Pony rides in the woods and picking the oldest one there who was called Boris. I picked him all the time because he liked to eat the grass a lot which made the ride last longer so I could spend more time with him. The little & big lake walk just behind the Nettebad. The traditional Christmas Markets in the town centre. Playing video games when my Dad finally came home on my Playstation 1, we would try and beat the games in one day but never could because I didn't have a memory card. Getting excited whenever Pokemon was on the TV. Friends round mine to share the big swimming pool I had. Watching Halloween Town before going out trick or treating. Finding our first ever pet, a kitten abandoned behind a grit bin while we were on a bike ride and taking her home, we named her Millie. So many memories. All lost to time. With only old VHS tapes & photographs to try and relive those memories at least just a tiny bit. Oh what Id do just to go back to those days. Nostalgia is such a beautiful but cruel mistress. I hate to love it and love to hate it. I Miss you Osnabruck. I miss you childhood. But. I have a baby daughter now. And I honestly can not wait to be the best father I can possibly be. And to make everlasting memories with her that she can look back on and smile just as much as I do looking back at the ones I made with my Mum & Dad. Oh Germany. Oh Osnabruck. Oh childhood. You were the best of days. I'll revisit you one day. With the whole family hopefully.
man, i feel the same way sometimes, even though im younger than you. glad youre happy and have a family though, a lot of people would do tremendous things just for that. personally im kind of at a point in my life where im not really sure what to do, im stuck listening to music from past years where i have good memories attached to, and i dont know what to think of the future. as you get older, ive found out that your perception of what is to come seems to keep changing as youe view of the world changes. what used to be innocent childhood dreams about growing up are now fears and anxieties of the world, of people, and of yourself. i should probably stop rambling, but i wish you the best in life and i hope you can get back to your hometown sometime soon. take care ✌️

Amazing video I sent 20 minutes crying getting all my thoughts of old times together elementary, Pre-Covid, old RUclipsrs, all times I hugged my family, life in general. I'm now realizing how the worst times for me became nostalgia and helped make me me.
I miss the good days.. 6th grade was fun, i had the best teachers of my fucking life and the friends would never leave me by myself if we had to do group work with only 2 people, my friends would always argue with the teacher to get us to be able to work TOGETHER and now.. when i was in 7th grade we all got split up and we never got to appreciate how fast the school year went and who knows if we will see each other again. When your young you want school to end but when it starts ending you wanna go back. No one feels the pain i go through. School is built to meet other children at your age and work together and progress till you guys are smart enough to pass school. I wish i could go back. I wanted to be popular and everything. But the things that the popular kids would laugh at wasn't funny to me and i'd just fake laugh. But when my friends stepped in, They laughed at what i laugh at. and y'know.. That was a start of our friendship, King. Sometimes you can get angry, but you never let it get to you. Y'know There was this one time when i was working with Michael in art class then a fight randomly broke out. It was with one of the popular kids, Blake. I wasn't friends with Blake and apparently my friend Zymir said that i said that Blake lost the fight(Blake is very strong) and at lunch Blake said to meet him in the bathroom. In shorter terms, He wanted to fight me. We argued over this for the entire lunch period, Then king snapped in and guess what he said. He said he'll fight Blake. He knew he didn't have a fucking chance but he took it, To protect us. Your real King. He fought Blake and he lost, Miserably, But guess what. He still smiled, He got beat badly, But it was for us. I’m a month out from graduating college. Listening to this, just makes me think of the last 4 years. The people I’ve met, the experiences I’ve made, all the good times, highs and lows. All of it is coming to an end. Everyone will go their separate ways. I mean, I understand life is full of memories, but also like, this is kind of the closing of my childhood in a way. I’m currently sitting in a field. I’m listening to this playlist and I’ve spent the last 45 minutes scrolling through each and every one of these comments and their replies. I look at everyone’s usernames, their profile pictures, what language they typed their sentences in. I don’t translate them. Just look. It both warms and saddens my heart that none of us really know each other. Everybody here is being so kind to each other and it puts me in tears to know that some people here, as I’m reading their words, may be crying, or dealing with something rough, or if it were night and I looked up, maybe I would see them. What makes me happy is that maybe they’re okay. Maybe they have found peace. I don’t know where I’m going with this, but I love you all and I’m so proud of you. Это меня хоть не сразу но поломало(может и к лучшему, пока судить не могу, но в данный момент ну такое) В классе 1 вообще слабо че помню но бывали насмешки это точно и тогда даже какая то конкуренция за место в классе ощущалась и до класса 5 я был таким эгоцентристом если так можно выразиться, бывал кого то вместе с коллективом травил а потом на меня переключалось Но в классе 6-7 все было +- спокойно А в 8 я начал ощущать что сдесь что то не так и мои одноклассники не такие крутые и добрые как мне казалось И до класса 9 я старался всеравно быть дружелюбным несмотря на говно которое на меня лилось, но слава богу допëр где и как и хватило ума прекратить общение и общался с 2 челами(к ним чуть позже вернусь) Потом наступил 10 класс и пришли челы с паралели других школ и городов и захотелось со всеми подружиться Но в ответ получил несколько факторов: Меня либо слали нахуй Либо не было интереса у меня или у них общаться с мной или я с ними Начали угарать надо мной И убрать эти 3 фактора и в классе остаются либо дебилы с моего класса которые до 9 класса я не замечал как на меня говно льют либо люди которые были в похожей ситуации как я но этого не осозновали и у меня какое то раздржаение вызывало типа бля да пошли ты их нахуй не слушай эти издëвки(хотя скорее это что бы я на месте таких делал, жизнь у всех разная максимум похожая) А теперь вернусь к 2 челам:они были похожими на меня в плане что мало с кем общались(но они так почти всегда себя вели) но они оба отличники, я средне учусь И в 10 пришёл к нам в группу другой чел который сначала мне показался адекватным а потом я понял что он психопат мякго говоря который косит будто он нормальный А еще чуть позже я понял что наша четверка на самом деле тройка ведь один чел оказался точно таким же психом как тот чел который к нам пришел а другого чела интересовала учеба но ничего больше а я на самом деле им нахуй не нужен буду после школы но пока мы в ней еще учимся они ко мне подходят на перемене сделать вид будто я им нужен но нп деле они тебя точно не вспомнят после выпуска С другой стороны этого мрака есть доля позитива что все это временно и рано или поздно но саое место каждый найдёт Хотя в реалии это пройзойдет после школы поэтому ждать еще год, хотя может в 11 вдруг аукнется что то Но я скорее реалист и ничего не будет

I remember days I used to spend at my childhood best friends house, I’d beg her if we could go on her trampoline and I had so much fun. She had a swing set we used to push each other on. I had a friend that I knew my entire life. She was one of 2 friends that I have had growing up. I am a guy and she was a tomboy and liked the same stuff that I did. We would have nerf battles, set up pranks and traps especially on April fools, and my personal favorite play Minecraft on the Xbox together. I still have all the survival worlds that we played on and remember each and every one like it was yesterday. COVID came around and her mom was a nurse and took it really seriously. We didn’t end up seeing each other for around a year but still talked and played Minecraft together just separated. After her mom got more comfortable we started having play dates again but it wasn’t the same she changed a lot as she was 3 years older then me and was starting to become apart of LGBTQ which I didn’t realize at the time. She would still hang out with me but I could start to tell she grew away from me. After about a year both of our moms got in a fight and the last messeges I sent to her were merry Christmas for 2 years in a row each one year apart. The reason I’m writing this is because I noticed one of the strings we used to make traps sound the house was still hanging but cut off in my closet. I wish we were still using could go back and play K and J forever survival world again just for an hour. I wish we were still best of friends. ❤

Born 1993, when I was around 5/6 me and my family had to move to Germany, Osnabruck because my Dad was stationed there for being in the British Army. We stayed there until 2001. I can honestly say from what memories are still there in my head, are the best years of my life. If I could just relive those days, just for a few hours, I would be so happy.
I spend hours crying happy/sad tears on Google Earth Pro with the time machine of the maps. Seeing my old Primary School before it was demolished. Seeing the Army barracks my dad was at before that too was sadly demolished. Seeing my old childhood home which I haven't seen since we left 23 years ago.
It's even more saddening with how Germany's privacy laws are. Google Street view is practically none existent. So the buildings and the streets I fondly remember are mainly just these pixelated resemblances of buildings that I still vividly remember from my childhood but I can't see how are now or was a few years ago. I only have what I remember, and the odd remnants of videos here on RUclips which is extremely lacking and rare to find
Thankfully some time last year, Germany finally lifted those privacy laws for Google Maps Street view and i finally got to see my home again for the first time since we all left way back in 2001. I will be honest. I've never cried so much in such a long time. It was harrowingly different everywhere i looked around Osnabruck but I could also see things that haven't changed at all.
The walks we went on, the Warner Brothers Movie Theme Park down south near Dorsten. Pony rides in the woods and picking the oldest one there who was called Boris. I picked him all the time because he liked to eat the grass a lot which made the ride last longer so I could spend more time with him. The little & big lake walk just behind the Nettebad. The traditional Christmas Markets in the town centre. Playing video games when my Dad finally came home on my Playstation 1, we would try and beat the games in one day but never could because I didn't have a memory card. Getting excited whenever Pokemon was on the TV. Friends round mine to share the big swimming pool I had.
Watching Halloween Town before going out trick or treating. Finding our first ever pet, a kitten abandoned behind a grit bin while we were on a bike ride and taking her home, we named her Millie. So many memories. All lost to time. With only old VHS tapes & photographs to try and relive those memories at least just a tiny bit.
Oh what Id do just to go back to those days. Nostalgia is such a beautiful but cruel mistress. I hate to love it and love to hate it. I Miss you Osnabruck. I miss you childhood.
But. I have a baby daughter now. And I honestly can not wait to be the best father I can possibly be. And to make everlasting memories with her that she can look back on and smile just as much as I do looking back at the ones I made with my Mum & Dad.
Oh Germany. Oh Osnabruck. Oh childhood. You were the best of days. I'll revisit you one day. With the whole family hopefully.

man, i feel the same way sometimes, even though im younger than you. glad youre happy and have a family though, a lot of people would do tremendous things just for that. personally im kind of at a point in my life where im not really sure what to do, im stuck listening to music from past years where i have good memories attached to, and i dont know what to think of the future. as you get older, ive found out that your perception of what is to come seems to keep changing as youe view of the world changes. what used to be innocent childhood dreams about growing up are now fears and anxieties of the world, of people, and of yourself. i should probably stop rambling, but i wish you the best in life and i hope you can get back to your hometown sometime soon. take care ✌️

My pet died at my 11 years old birthday. I was too young for this. I miss him so much.
I miss the good days.. 6th grade was fun, i had the best teachers of my fucking life and the friends would never leave me by myself if we had to do group work with only 2 people, my friends would always argue with the teacher to get us to be able to work TOGETHER and now.. when i was in 7th grade we all got split up and we never got to appreciate how fast the school year went and who knows if we will see each other again. Thanks for being by my side, man. Kayden, I'll never leave you, Your a good friend and always help others out, Your willing to conquer every single fear. King, I like your energy, Your always startled and you get so excited and that's what keeps me moving. Milton, Your also a good friend, You always sneaked and did bad things, But in the end, Your still fun to talk to. I remember when we were in 6th grade eating during class, It was funny. Micheal, Your a W man. You were technically my "dad" You literally fed me and milton lol, Thanks guys. Without you i dont know who i'd talk to. Im gonna be completely honest. I wanted to be popular and everything. But the things that the popular kids would laugh at wasn't funny to me and i'd just fake laugh. But when my friends stepped in, They laughed at what i laugh at. and y'know.. That was a start of our friendship, King. Sometimes you can get angry, but you never let it get to you. Y'know There was this one time when i was working with Michael in art class then a fight randomly broke out. It was with one of the popular kids, Blake. I wasn't friends with Blake and apparently my friend Zymir said that i said that Blake lost the fight(Blake is very strong) and at lunch Blake said to meet him in the bathroom. In shorter terms, He wanted to fight me. We argued over this for the entire lunch period, Then king snapped in and guess what he said. He said he'll fight Blake. He knew he didn't have a fucking chance but he took it, To protect us. Your real King. He fought Blake and he lost, Miserably, But guess what. He still smiled, He got beat badly, But it was for us. I just wish i can go back, My teachers let me play basketball in the damn classroom. Mr.Haynes W teacher, Dr.Sumo W teacher, Ms.Sosa W teacher, Ms.Guy W teacher thank you all.

I’m a month out from graduating college. Listening to this, just makes me think of the last 4 years. The people I’ve met, the experiences I’ve made, all the good times, highs and lows. All of it is coming to an end. Everyone will go their separate ways. I mean, I understand life is full of memories, but also like, this is kind of the closing of my childhood in a way. I’m currently sitting in a field. I’m listening to this playlist and I’ve spent the last 45 minutes scrolling through each and every one of these comments and their replies. I look at everyone’s usernames, their profile pictures, what language they typed their sentences in. I don’t translate them. Just look. It both warms and saddens my heart that none of us really know each other. Everybody here is being so kind to each other and it puts me in tears to know that some people here, as I’m reading their words, may be crying, or dealing with something rough, or if it were night and I looked up, maybe I would see them. What makes me happy is that maybe they’re okay. Maybe they have found peace. I don’t know where I’m going with this, but I love you all and I’m so proud of you. If you’re crying right now, I still love you. Crying helps. I don’t care if you’re a woman or a man or don’t identify as binary. You can cry because you’re human. And you deserve so much love and I wish I could give you a hug, just so you know it’s okay and I’m here. Remember that you are a human being, trying to live like everybody else, and it might be really, really hard sometimes. It might not seem like it, but you are amazing and beautiful and authentic and I love you for you, not the way you act for society. Stay strong, and maybe one day we’ll meet in the stars.

Я в детстве вообще был дружелюбный, пока в школу не пошёл... Это меня хоть не сразу но поломало(может и к лучшему, пока судить не могу, но в данный момент ну такое)
В классе 1 вообще слабо че помню но бывали насмешки это точно и тогда даже какая то конкуренция за место в классе ощущалась и до класса 5 я был таким эгоцентристом если так можно выразиться, бывал кого то вместе с коллективом травил а потом на меня переключалось
Но в классе 6-7 все было +- спокойно
А в 8 я начал ощущать что сдесь что то не так и мои одноклассники не такие крутые и добрые как мне казалось
И до класса 9 я старался всеравно быть дружелюбным несмотря на говно которое на меня лилось, но слава богу допëр где и как и хватило ума прекратить общение и общался с 2 челами(к ним чуть позже вернусь)
Потом наступил 10 класс и пришли челы с паралели других школ и городов и захотелось со всеми подружиться
Но в ответ получил несколько факторов:
Меня либо слали нахуй
Либо не было интереса у меня или у них общаться с мной или я с ними
Начали угарать надо мной
И убрать эти 3 фактора и в классе остаются либо дебилы с моего класса которые до 9 класса я не замечал как на меня говно льют либо люди которые были в похожей ситуации как я но этого не осозновали и у меня какое то раздржаение вызывало типа бля да пошли ты их нахуй не слушай эти издëвки(хотя скорее это что бы я на месте таких делал, жизнь у всех разная максимум похожая)
А теперь вернусь к 2 челам:они были похожими на меня в плане что мало с кем общались(но они так почти всегда себя вели) но они оба отличники, я средне учусь
И в 10 пришёл к нам в группу другой чел который сначала мне показался адекватным а потом я понял что он психопат мякго говоря который косит будто он нормальный
А еще чуть позже я понял что наша четверка на самом деле тройка ведь один чел оказался точно таким же психом как тот чел который к нам пришел а другого чела интересовала учеба но ничего больше а я на самом деле им нахуй не нужен буду после школы но пока мы в ней еще учимся они ко мне подходят на перемене сделать вид будто я им нужен но нп деле они тебя точно не вспомнят после выпуска
С другой стороны этого мрака есть доля позитива что все это временно и рано или поздно но саое место каждый найдёт
Хотя в реалии это пройзойдет после школы поэтому ждать еще год, хотя может в 11 вдруг аукнется что то
Но я скорее реалист и ничего не будет

My most comfortable time is in the middle of the night when the city sleeps and all the apartments opposite me are blacked out and it’s just me and the sky 🌌 staring at the stars, this music, my thoughts quieten and my mind can relax. My mind is a constant battle but this small time I wake up like clockwork every night to have this moment for a while. I pray all those struggling in life and are alone can keep going keep fighting you are the only one who can truly win your battle. 🙏🏽

I had a friend that I knew my entire life. She was one of 2 friends that I have had growing up. I am a guy and she was a tomboy and liked the same stuff that I did. We would have nerf battles, set up pranks and traps especially on April fools, and my personal favorite play Minecraft on the Xbox together. I still have all the survival worlds that we played on and remember each and every one like it was yesterday. COVID came around and her mom was a nurse and took it really seriously. We didn’t end up seeing each other for around a year but still talked and played Minecraft together just separated. After her mom got more comfortable we started having play dates again but it wasn’t the same she changed a lot as she was 3 years older then me and was starting to become apart of LGBTQ which I didn’t realize at the time. She would still hang out with me but I could start to tell she grew away from me. After about a year both of our moms got in a fight and the last messeges I sent to her were merry Christmas for 2 years in a row each one year apart. The reason I’m writing this is because I noticed one of the strings we used to make traps sound the house was still hanging but cut off in my closet. I wish we were still using could go back and play K and J forever survival world again just for an hour. I wish we were still best of friends. ❤
