The garden has EXPLODED into colour! Iris, roses, sweet peas and more

Meet the newest members of the team - Burt and Belinda! There are triffidic creatures taking over the garden which must mean we are well and truly on our way towards summer, and the busiest, floweriest time of the year for all you gardeners and florists out there.
If you've been here before - welcome back to the channel... if you haven't, we are sisters Alex and Jess of Aesme Studio. We run a flower studio in Shepherd's Bush, London and grow all the flowers we use in our recipes at a cutting garden in the Hampshire countryside.
It's been a busy week but we couldn't resist filming a quick 'Testing Recipes' film for your viewing pleasure - basically a stem (or two) of every gorgeous flower in the garden, simply arranged in glass 'troughs' using shiny Japanese kenzans to keep them in place. Simple, effective and a beautiful way to display the explosion of beauty happening right now after some much needed sunshine. We can't wait to meet everyone coming to our studio workshop next week and get creating with you!
