Your dream breakfast is on the way, thanks to Dawn. You’ve got good carpentry skills for boat work, and explaining what and how you do it. Cheers Frank
Love the technical terms used in your vids. How to get the wood level "kicking it about a bit". Priceless 🤣. Absolutely the best DIY vids on RUclips. Boats looking crackin Pete 👍.
My wife and I think you’re doing really well. You’ve certainly got some determination. The “bulkheads” are really taking shape as well! There’s my old seaman terminology again! Well done and keep up the good work.
We have the basic runs for plumbing and electrics. We are just finishing the last few window out / reseal / refit. Then one of the next jobs is 'first fix' electrics / plumbing.
Love watching your Vlog great tips you make it look really interesting. I used to work for a company in Rotherham so maybe we walked passed each other. Can’t wait to see the finished boat
My kitchen worktop looks level until I put a pencil on it and it rolls to the back. If I level it it looks way out with the window. Nothing is level on my boat but it looks level. Getting there our kid.
Spent a lot of time fitting windows and doors to old terraced houses and had the same problem you have found on the boat. Spirit level, not a lot of od use. We would just wind the door or window in until it looked right. You are doing a good job mate! On another subject are you going ahead and fitting a composting toilet? With CRT now saying you can't use their disposal facilities to empty your toilet waste from a composting toilet.
We are fitting the compost toilet - we will discuss it (and build it!) soon. In essence though there are facilities on our moorings for compost toilet waste (non crt related).
Pete just a thought, I saw what looked like a part of a compost toilet system in your hands, I am not sure if you are aware but crt are banning the deposit of compost toilet waste in the bins, we bought a simpaloo for our boat and sent it back due to this now becoming a issue, saying that you might have another way of dealing with that problem. Any way still looking good m8
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget that's good news m8.i read today that crt are going to make it a no no to dump the stuff in their bins, but if you have a facility that's really good for you folks
Bit worried about that door frame, if the boats superstructure out of true vertically, gravity wont be and the door may not hang true, shouldnt a plumb line not have been used?
You can't use a plumb line on a boat... If I hang a plumb line from the ceiling now and mark the floor, then either fill the water tank or fit another cupboard the boat will be sat differently in the water and the plumb line would be indicating a different spot...
No, on our moorings we have proper compost facility for the waste from the toilets, we will look into it (not literally!) properly as we build the toilet itself...
Yeah love his song . but it's like when you hear a song on the radio love it .then you hear alot and start to go off it. but I love what you're both doing it's looking good
As you are sitting where your toilet might be you can definitely say your build is not bog standard !
Damn... Missed a joke there didn't I! 🤣🤣🤣
QUALITY ALL THE WAY THROUGH, Music is the tops.
Thankyou... The music is all down to my mate James Thomas who wrote and recorded it for us...
Loving the music! Fascinating watching the interior change.
Great tune isn't it, written and performed by my mate James Thomas...
Your dream breakfast is on the way, thanks to Dawn. You’ve got good carpentry skills for boat work, and explaining what and how you do it. Cheers Frank
Thankyou... Id love my skills to be better - but they are getting us through it... (So far at least!). 😁
Making quick progress, you'll be listening to those quacking ducks while having your full monty on the bed in no time now!
Fingers crossed!
Love your happy song.
All credit to my mate James Thomas, he wrote and recorded it for us...
Looking good can see it taken shape now loved the finished dreams bit 😝
You and me both!
So good to be able to watch a vlog where no Pratt has already given thumbs down.
It's only a matter of time... There's always at least one! 🙄🤔🤷🤣
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget Still counts for engagement. They have to notice to dislike.
I know, jealousy is not a good trait.
Another great vlog and boat is really coming on now. Looking very nice 👍
Thanks 👍

Cheers, thankyou!

We don't dress things up in fancy clothes... Just say it how it is!
Glad your enjoying it... Thankyou...
It’s amazing how the two walls change the whole look. I can’t wait for the next vlog.
Sure does change it!
Have you watched todays 'costings' video yet?
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget Not yet, I’m saving it for later tonight!
Great video!! The jobs a goodun 😁 xx

Interesting!
glad your enjoying...
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget I said that as I assumed you knew the liquid in the glass on a level has alcohol in it, yes?
Looking really good Pete top job.
Thankyou!
Rack of eye is a skill not everyone has. A few coats of looking at and a pot of tea is the way. Looking good.
That eyeing up was painfully slow... but I 'THINK' I got it best I could....

We really should learn the boating lingo! Glad your enjoying!
You have it all worked out looking good
It's coming together... Sure there's LOTS we probably haven't planned out enough yet - bit we aren't 'winging it!' without good reason! 🤣🤣🤣
Peter is "not quite sat on the toilet yet" - and for that we're all truly thankful !! 😎😱😱
That is for a future vlog! 🤣🤣🤣
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget Presumably that will be marked as an 'x' certificate then ?!! 🤢🤢

Awesome Pete 👍🏼👍🏼😎

Hi Pete , can't help but notice no elects or plumbing ?
I'm sure you have it all in hand bud , also square everything off the floor , love your vids 👍

Keep up the good work it will be worth it for sure
Sure will... Slow and steady progress - but whilst it progressing that's all good! 😁
Sounding so go, keep it up.

Watching from Thailand now keep at it and keep that kettle on the go !! Nice one !
Kettle always on... Maybe a cup of Asian tea? Instead of the usual Yorkshire Tea! 🤔
Nice work as always Pete👍👍

On our moorings (not run by crt) there is full facilities for compost toilet waste - I will cover the 'details' when we make the toilet....
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget that's good news m8.i read today that crt are going to make it a no no to dump the stuff in their bins, but if you have a facility that's really good for you folks
@@prestoncrewnarrowboaters8619 yeah, when I make the compost toilet I'm going to cover the crt announcement and the facilities on site...
Great progress and a nice job! Will the sliding doors be "inside the wall"? If not you will loose a lot of valuable wall space....
Yes that's the plan...
Is it still 55cm from the bottom of the wall and 90 degrees to the floor (IMHO, that's all you need). ;-)

I hope you will have a great Easter 🐣 one you will be out stuff too do but you have wife
We may have a little 'easter trip' in the boat... 🤔😁
With the proposed change in rules from the CRT and composting loo’s will that affect your plans at all?
No, on our moorings we have proper compost facility for the waste from the toilets, we will look into it (not literally!) properly as we build the toilet itself...
couldnt you use a string with a weight on the end to get things straight ?
No, as weight is moved around the boat, the point where the string indicates would constantly move....
🎥❤️👌👍
😁😁😁
I love a bit of pole dancing.
Hahaha, how much you paying to watch! 🤣🤣🤣
Working at that speed should be finished the whole boat in about a fortnight
It would be nice to have it done that quick! 😁😁😁
Think your mate needs to make another song . This is wearing a bit thin now
