I met my mother when I was fifty years old. I was given up for adoption in London 1965. She was white and my father was black. She was from New Zealand and was in England for school when she got pregnant. Mixed race kid, unmarried teen in the sixties it was a tough call...I didn't have a bad life...but after I met her I wish she had kept me. I think she does too.
Shame on the memory of the grandmother and grandfather for not helping their 16 year old daughter when she is such a sweet soul 💔 so glad she got to hold her baby after all x

I’ve heard that they want to adapt the show for the US. I’m worried they’d take the raw magic and emotion away from these stories by gifting people checks or trips.
