What a strange experience this is: streamer is playing my favorite game but also, is playing it like that one guy playing Cuphead who couldn't get past the tutorial.
From what I have learned from this stream: 1. Therm does not know how to throw Pikmin 2. Therm does not know how to save Pikmin from dying (as he puts no effort into trying to save a Pikmin when it catches fire) 3. Therm does not know what nectar is and chooses to just consider it useless and annoying.

Tiny bit of tech in the "see more" if you're interested, can just ignore if you find that backseating or smth. 1: You have to be holding a pikmin to swap between types, and the other type has to be in your party 2: so you mention something to the effect of "there's a cursor that points exactly where the pikmin are going to land" in the intro, which is true, while Olimar is standing still. Olimar's momentum is actually applied on top of the arc needed to get the Pikmin to the cursor. So by running, and say, throwing them with full momentum just short of water or a cliff, you can get a _lot_ more distance on your throws than the cursor would lead you to believe. This is useful in a few places, but absolutely not necessary Also 1:40:34 if you were curious on the timing..... Yeah you can just punch them to death, olimar can throw hands. This is often a valid answer- 2:17:57 that was exactly what the pikmin were supposed to do there with those inputs, and it was beautiful. They executed flawlessly, somehow.
