I think the reason all the freddies walk towards the elevator is because the first endo you encounter makes its way to the elevator when it's unaware of your location. Considering the fact that the endo was intended to be the only hostile animatronic in the basement, the freddies adopt its pathing and huddle around the elevator.

He did not make it. Unfortunately, the poison was the most effective for our issue, but, would rather find an alternative next time. (Glue traps were kind of effective if you knew where to place them inside the house, but some of the mice were too hefty to actually stay caught in them. Watched a big mouse myself unlodge itself from a glue trap. And the snap ones were useless because the mice would just eat the bait and get away scott free.) At least the farm cats kept rats from getting in, as they would so kindly leave their rat catches in front of our door as a gift. But they never seemed to catch any mice.

Native reptile populations are shrinking incredibly fast (basically anywhere in the world) especially because so many people fear them/ kill them on sight. I know that sometimes you absolutely can't realistically control populations of animals in other ways (without it being incredibly expensive), but if it can be avoided one should definitely try their best to do so. We should always keep in mind how our actions affect animals and nature! We don't need to poison the planet and it's wildlife even faster than we already do ^^

(Mum thinks they're too cute to just kill and can't bring herself to do that. I agree, they are cute.)
