Aww, Chief... did you fire up some Bloodywood just for me? Love ya!!! I absolutely love their song _BSDK.EXE,_ but no one ever reacts to it because it doesn't have a music video. I, personally, think it's even heavier than _Dana Dan._ BSDK.EXE (song only, no lyrics, no visuals) - ruclips.net/video/T7-sH37tInE/видео.html
If you haven't already seen it, please watch "Endurant" by Bloodywood. Another fantastic message and a video that gets you right in the heart❤ Also one of my faves, but how can anyone pick a Bloodywood fave song??? Near on impossible. Thanks for your great reactions.
Endurant is incredible, it made me bloody well cry, it's that fantastic and touching. Heavy as fuck, full of positivity and meaning; the Bloodywood way.
The way they carry that 'swung' beat throughout all the instruments... such a great feel. The rhythm IS the hook (for me). Karan's guitar is voweling so hard as he follows the beat. And he does it with so little distortion... just a fierce strike on those strings. (I wonder if he sets his pickups a little high, so they drag on the string a bit as it oscillates? ) (my apologies to all the musicians who play this form of music... I am uneducated in the proper way to describe the beats/sounds of this region/country/subcontinent.) I think the in-the-background sound you mentioned may be a hit on one of the tabla (not sure if it's a baya or daya). Done fairly sparsely, it might be hard to pick out. It may be a much simpler tuned drum.. again, I am no expert. As an aside, I would love to hear a proper Indian percussionist sing out the drummer's little transitions... Ever since I heard the opening to Shakti's 'A Handful of Beauty', in which the two percussionists verbalize the beats they incorporate into the song.... oh, there is a language to percussion that I only know exists, without knowing what it means. OK, enough tangents for this morning. Great to see you are doing well, Chief. EDIT : I realize you're saving funds for another project, so to speak, but are you planning on hopping across the channel to see the Ayreon show next year? Arjen just released a reminder-video for the ticket release this coming thursday : YTfile 1QMzfeT99b8
This is The favourite Bloodywood-track of my 14 years old/young son,,,and sure in Top-5 of my too (even ALL of their tracks are just amazzzing...too bad we were not able to see them LIVE then in last March on their cancelled European tour when we had all them concert and fly tickets etc purchased and they were still almost like eh family secret and all that,,, butt things just (don´t) happen....well maybe still some day it Happens, hope so lets C hah huh ;-) :-) )
Another of my favorites! (granted, most of Bloodywood qualifies for that) It's so awesome getting to see you react to each song for the first time, since we all know you'll love each song. 🤘
Ok. Now I'm confused. I was absolutely, 100% sure that I had decided to discover this band with you and not have first listens on my own (sometimes it's more fun that way) but I have played this plenty of times. I had to look through your channel because I was sure you'd reacted to this already- but you hadn't. I have zero recollection of adding this to my playlist without watching your reaction first. Zero! 😅 I clearly need a spa weekend.
Bloodywood is true love at first 'sight' mate

For me, this band is one of the greatest finds in the last years. Love it! Great reaction as always, thanx!
That's it. "They have the most aggressive way of spreading the most positive message."
That's it.
