    Caught my PB snook a few days ago right after I watched this. My cast got so far back into the mangroves and basically hit the snook in the face and drew an immediate strike. Couldn’t have done it without the help of this video. I didn’t realize just how far back into the mangroves these fish hide. Thanks again!

    Great video man !! I assume a bait casting reel would not work as easily as spinning, since that first hit to the water would slow down the speed and the spool would keep going and backlash. I use just a bait caster, but thinking about a secondary spinning combo for lighter lures.

    Thanks, Tony! How do you control the point you want to stop the lure? Do you feather the line or control force of whipping? Or just let the lure find its own happy place?
