George Fox, A Christian Who Listened to God

Do you feel that God speaks to you? I hope that you do. Through the scriptures, prayer and the preaching of the word, God speaks to us all. What great a blessing it is to hear His voice.
But did you know that there was a time in church history that if you shared that God talked directly to you, you would have been called a heretic? Then a man by the name of George Fox came along who taught the church gift of listening prayer. He was the father of quaker movement and began the work for abolishing slavery in Europe and Northern America.
