      Dear sir
Atleast in government jobs people have job security. Obviously they have to do target in order to generate fee based income. Otherwise how the banks will earn profit. How are the employees going to get increament or promotions. On the other hand in private bank , there is no job security. There is no timing to go at home. In the morning we face morning huddle . Get to hear so many insulting words. After completing targets as well everyday we go through the tension of loosing jobs. So please do not compare govt jobs with private jobs. Because the work culture in private companies is way more toxic. Atleast in covid era , no govt employee got fired from their job like us. I lost my job in covid because of non meeting my target. You are misleading the youths.
Selling life insurance products , health insurance products , mutual funds and bringing CASA accounts gives revenue for banks. Because everyone wants promotion in govt job but at the end of the dame they have to put their efforts.
Please do not compare these govt employees with us bcz we don't have job security even after completing our targets as well.

I am a credit officer in SBI. I am speaking here on behalf of many young bankers who will leave banks, moment they get opportunity somewhere else. We all don't want to work in SBI for a day. We all are preparing for starting our own business or other job. Work culture of PSB is very toxic now a days.

😂 The reality of metro cities is you can't afford education for your children if you want , you can't afford to change cars & mobile phones you can't even breath Healthy Air 😂😂
      Delhi , Mumbai etc !
But if you are 22-23 yo and good In studies and want a healthy life go for IBPS & SBI jobs !
The first reason my brother is just married this year at the age 31 and he is working as AGM in PNB !
His salary is around 20LPA (with allowance) but he receives more than just that !
Last year after his promotion he got posted in our home town & before that he was in LKO !
      Currently he owns a Fortuner legender , MT15 & Vespa ! 😂😂
Sale ko dahej Mila 50 lakh , Iss saal Ghar kharida hai apna 5000 sqft ka !
Tab btao guys agar aapko thoda sa pressure lena hi pade itne sab k liye to or kya chahiye...
      .
Banda har mahine ka 50 hjar kharchta hai uske baad b 1 lakh bacha leta hai... 😅😅😅
31 ka hai abhi vo itni age me IIT & IIMs ko hata de to shyad hi koi aapko esa package dilwa pae ....
      .
Kisi uncle k chakkar me na pado . Uncle is light hearted if you went through the streets you know ki easy kuch b nhi hai life me!!
      .
Aaj ki date pe agar aap IIT & IIM se nhi ho to aap kachra ho.. 50-60 ki naukari milegi or 10 ghante aapko Dena padega 😂 uske baad agar aap apne home town me job nhi pate hoto rent b usi salary se doge... Aapki job ki koi security nahi aapki koi ijjat nhi aap ko logo ka gussa jhelna hoga office me just bcz vo aapko naukari se na nikal de .
      .
But aapko kya lagta hai Govt. Officer esa sehte honge ??
      😂😂😂
Ji nahi vaha bas aapko promotion nhi milega baki aap mar lo apne head ki uske paas aapke against koi authority nhi hai ... He is just like you...
Baki jinpe authority hoti hai vo malai khane me busy hote hain unko itna fursat nhi hai ki aapko aake date kyunki aapne apne senior ki baat nhi mani.. 😂😂😂😂😂
      .
      .
      Think rational 😜
Govt job ho ya private agar aap pinky boi hain to fir aapki har jagah li jaegi..
So on that note Jo marji chose Karo sare sector achhe Hain agar aapka dimag strong hai or aapke Vo Karizma hai ki aap logo ko apne personality se , behaviour, looks ya intelligence se attract kar sakte hain to aap kisi b sector me Successful rahoge...
      .
Baki agar aapko easy life + Lots of Money & Plenty of time to spend with family or vo b without any Academic Baggage chahiye to go for SBI , IBPS , SSC CGL , UPSC & RBI !!
      .
      .
Baki uncle ji bol rhe hain vo RRB k liye apply hota hai baki agar aap smart hoto aap smjh sakte ho aaj se 8-10 saal me Jo choti jagah hain vaha ki lifestyle far far better hogi aapke so called metro city se... Delhi , Bangalore & Mumbai etc are over populated & with every passing day becoming more polluted , it's hard to stay healthy there ! Not just that crime rates are already at their peak people don't bother helping others because they don't really trust each other, Water scarcity is rising! & if you want a really good education for your child you need to pay 5-6 lakhs per year !! Or you'll get the same cheap quality of education in metro cities!!
      .
      .
To agar uncle aapko 2-3 Lacs per month promise karte ho to aap jarur inki baten sune warna he is simply misleading you guys ! Ek to aap vese quit karne ka sochte rhte ho upar se uncle aapko or motivate kar de rhe hain.. ese to aap bhid Kam kar doge... !!
Anyways jesa aap ko thik Lage but mene apna openion dediya ye video dekhne k baad bcs mujhe esa laga ki inki baten bas 5-10% logo pe apply hoti hain 90% bankers are living a happy life !
And rhi bat rural postings ki to bhai local Banda 10-15 lakh deke apna place leta hai to itna easy nhi hai rural branch milna sabko...
50% logo ko smart cities or metro cities milta hai baki.. ko tier 2 & 3 cities 😂
Khud socho agar tum 22-23 pe PO ban jate ho.. 73k around in hand aayegi.. (with allowance) rehne ka dena nahi hai.. medical ka dena nhi hai.. tel ka dena nhi hai sab govt dekh rhi hai..
70 hjar me kitna kha loge be tier 2&3 City me.. .har condition me 50 Bach jaega bro on an average 😂😂😂
Sasti cities me Jamin sasti vaha tum jab tak 29-30 k hoge tab tak crorepati ban jaoge... Ghar gadi Sona Chandi health wealth 🤑 sab hoga tumpe.. vo bhi bina tumhari degree dekhe... 😂😂😂
      Khud socho
Konsi private company tumko 1 lakh in hand ka pakage degi...
      Govt de rhi hai..
      75k (after 17% hike in SBI) + (27k accomodation)
      1.02 lakh ka pakage 😂😂😂
Iske baad life time simple interest pe loan !
Or upar ka paisa to pucho mat..
Ghar pariwar dost yaar samaj har jagah ijjat , badle me aapko office me active rehna hoga 8-10 ghante... 7-8 saal me aap CBM tak pohoch jaoge..
Uske baad aap promotion lo hi mat.. ek hi City me raho life time ..
Kyun nhi biwi aayegi.. Fortuner se lene jaaoge to.. 😂
Kyun nhi rhegi jab seher sabse best school me apne bachho ko daloge to.. aaj ki date me har City me ek na ek school esa hai jo aapke Delhi Mumbai k normal schools se 100 times better hai..
      .
      .
Kaise boss nhi manega jab har anniversary pe ghadi gift karoge.. !!
      😂😂😂
Bro life me sab kuch ast vyast hai usko apne according banana padta hai.. kuch log chat k kaam nikalte or kuch Bina chate with strong personality kaam nikalte hain..
Baki chutiyr hi hote hain jo private ko compare b karte hain Govt se .. bcz 90 % private jobs are trash !!
10% me bhi Koi guarantee nhi ki tumhare boss ko kab tumhare jagah ek Gori chitti hot sub ordinate chahiye ho .. so just don't listen to this 60yo rich grandpa!! Ye itna hi gyanchand hota to tumko RUclips pe nhi Tumhare office seminar me gyan dera hota .. 😂😂😂 just avoid him

      PSU🤔🤔🤔🤔
i joined when i was 23. I resigned when i was 32. I then qualified SET NET. Thankfully i did my MA through correspondence in early banking years only. Insted of Jaiib n caiib i was doing MA so imagine my motivation to quit 🤣🤣🤣
But i procrastinated it Bcoz i got used to the good amount of money... then marriage... honeymoon phase then baby.... thats how i wasted my 9 years in a reputed psu. Before i knew it I was being consistently harassed... targeted by my bosses... union did not help. Kept shut. Even the local union leaders in banks are useless...
My suggestion to all the young POs who are joining would be to keep a back plan .... keep working on ur skills and personality development. Banks are so toxic n such an experimental ground for the current fanatic govt that anytime this job can become unbearable. It already is pathetic. Also.... I was able to quit bcoz i did not take unnecessary loans. Even as an officer n manager i never owned car or bought property. I didn't get myself unnecessary financial liabilities .

Here goes.. I left SBI after selection within 2 years (PO) was the best decision of my life. People told me not to. Not even one person supported my decision except my gf (now beloved wife). Had fights at home. Even till date my family feels i did wrong. lol and hear this out, despite when i today work in the US as a software engineer(self learnt how to code and re-established my career from scratch). But This is the problem with indian middle class parents. They want sarkari naukri for their child even if he/she becomes the CEO of microsoft they dont give a damn. Specially north indian belt. South indians are smarter in that (majority). Same goes for even IAS PCS stuff. All noise no substance whatsoever. Until the average indian youth realises that subdued aspirations are a soul killer, nothing is going to improve for India. No demographic dividend will help the country. Even today there is no scope of experimentation and risk taking. And i totally agree with this video, if you hail from an extremely poor background it is completely ok. Sarkari jobs should be left for them to help their social cause and recognition. But funny part is, even the poshest of posh generation is competing for a seat in clerical exam of ibps and sbi. I have worked first hand and seen it. Anyone reading this, no matter what year, what date. If u are not coming from a seriously poor background and hail from a decent tier 2 town (aleast), then do not, i repeat, do not go for sarkari jobs in name of safety and recognition. Safety is a myth. Workload matches your private sector counterparts, salary is peanuts and you will live your life in disdain, trying to snatch small chunks of happiness whenever & wherever you can find from. If that is what you are all about. Then for sure go ahead. In the end, Life makes you reap what you sowed in peace.

@GyanPrabhakar-bt8dg If someone takes their life bcoz of work pressure anyone can image how toxic that environment would be. People commit suicide mainly when they lose hope and how can u justify if your job makes u feel stressed out, takes your peace of mind and pushes u into being suicidal? The amount of stress that one can handle definitely varies, but if you are unable to meet the expectation of a firm its better to move out. If u take ur life bcoz of ur job not even a single dog from your company will be bothered, another person will replace you soon. The loss is only for ur family.

Sir I prepared for PSUs for 2-3 years. I cleared a bank exam in 2016 and I got my posting in 2017 in a very small town. I am from a tier 2 city and it was very difficult for me to live in that small town. What all you said is 100% true. I worked from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays no one was there as all the staff had gone out of town to see their families. It was lonely there. Staff was not at all up to my caliber which made it even harder to survive there. I eventually quit the job in 2019 after a 2 year struggle. I would have quit after 6 months but my family insisted me to stay. But after so many years my family thinks it was a good decision I made. Now I am working as a freelancer. Even if someone wants to join psu banks... My advice is to join as a clerk.. You can leave maximum by 5:30 pm... Initially after joining posting will be far from home.. But after 2-4 years you can return to to your hometown and if you don't take promotion you can remain there forever... Only downside is salary and perks will not be as much as officers... But there is a catch for that as well.. Marry another clerical staff and both don't take promotion 🙂... This is the best scenario if someone wants to be a psu banker.

    Sir,
Working as Chief Manager. From Well to do family. Now posted at head office earlier work were up to 7 now superiors were unabashedly asking to sit upto 9 pm. And shamelessly delaying work so that they can right royally ask staff to come on week ends. To an extent officers and managers are somewhat insulated but so called executive cadres are made like dogs and thrown dog biscuits.
And the biggest trap is housing loan given at low interest. People getting 80000 inhand salary are given one crore loan. Once entered people cannot escape.

I have been employed in the largest PSU bank for the past 15 years. What you are saying is absolutely correct. The work culture has become toxic, there is absolutely no sense of ownership at any level, and people spend their stints only to further their motives career wise or otherwise, even if it means resorting to unfair means. It is common practice to subdue instances of frauds and malpractices to protect the 'image' of banks and protect the puppets who dance to the tune of power hungry and egoistical bosses. Colonial practices abound and in any case I feel that ones talent is wasted here as processes and job roles are not well defined and frequently overlap. One day you maybe manager in a rural branch and provided you play the right cards and butter up the right people, you may end up in cushy roles of your choice in a urban or metro areas. I can write an entire book on such issues with PSU banks. I would advise meritorious youth to steer clear of such career paths, as its a trap, which will suck out all your happiness, leave you devoid of any will or self respect. The entire machinery is aligned towards destroying your professionalism and ensure zero personal growth or value addition. You are expected to be donkeys that carry burden and not provide any inputs or ideas.
    Thanks

You have bank staff benefits that you are unable to use, such as LFC, as you will not be given time off for them (no leaves). When you put pressure on a customer in a remote place to recover a loan, he may threaten you with a pistol. Senior treats you as if you're a genie that grants all of his ridiculous whims.

Financial penalties, political influence which makes you accomplice in wrong doings, Non-compliance culture means your every step in general banking can lead to termination, punitive action because complying to millions of guidelines in million types of various work is simply impossible. Staff shortage(1 person does the job of at least 3 people) and public view of bankers (hardly 1 out of 100 people know how banking works and we are an enemy in their eyes). My growth has stopped, my marriage broke up in 6 months because she couldn't adjust in that city , we both belonged to a state capital. I had a fairly good circle till I joined this job, now I don't have any circle. I am just alone. I drink on weekends to avoid loneliness. I get suicidal thoughts too. All in all life has gone sht . Started smoking weed to calm down my anxiety. I get urges to quit the job but then I get around 80k and I will be broke otherwise. I am just dragging myself each day in a hope that one day there will be light at the end . One day I might get posted near my home and enjoy the life as it should be. You are 100% right but your focus is mainly on placement. But I am also scale 3 Officer in a PSU Bank and actual position is too worst to imagine. PSU Banks are guided by Govt Policies but urban people expecting us to beat Pvt.Sector Banks even without proper infrastructure & Work force. We PSU Bankers are supposed to follow RBI / GOI / Finance Ministry/ SLBC / DLBC / IBA Guideline but there is no social recognition. Now there is no working hours and no family life also. We are supposed to work even Sunday & Holiday also to achieve unrealistic targets. Our GDP expected growth is 6-7% but Branch targets being fixed for minimum 20-25% annual. Now a days if you are not having Buttering quality then you can't get timely promotion & good placement.

When I was going to apply home loan from SBI bank, after finishing all the formalities and preparing papers, just one day before disbursing the loan amount, the bank manager is indirectly blackmailed me to take life insurance of premium atleast one lakh per year(total 5L I have to pay for 5 yrs ) then only he will disburse loan to me..... Earlier the same guy also forcebly attached a high premium insurance policy to my relatives when they are trying to open a locker in bank.. it's not the wrong nature of the bank manager... he is very good person but the management is forcing them to sell policies..

A) Making new friends across the country & abroad B) Excellent promotion opportunities C) Foreign posting opportunities D) Good salary & perk s E) Car & Flat after a certain level F) Good post retirement opportunities for executives. I have worked for 39 years in a PSB. I DON'T REGRET IT.

Also, he didn't mention that once after 5-10 years of service, one is elevated to Scale 3-4 (after exams although; and rural posting advantage) the person will be shifted to cities and metro So this rural thing is not much concern. Yes, unrealistic targets and expectations of higher management to put in too many extra hours is a big problem.

All that has been conveyed by sir in this video is 100% true as I can tell from my experience as a PSU bank PO. There is no work life balance at all. You can't think of leaving office before 7:30 sometimes even longer. Every day begins with a target and there is immense pressure of cross selling also then customers also don't respect you that much. Pathetic. I request all those preparing for bank jobs not to fall into the fancy trap of online coaching centers and don't just get motivated by seeing salary slips.

Employee life how many people are bold and give the reality answer that yes my govt. Life is suck I am suffering and The decision i took was wrong how many people accept their wrongs and defects. So the first hurdle in giving the right answer to a random guy is that its like when someone ask how much money you make and then after knowing he or she tries to measure your worth the same thing he or she believes will happen after saying his life is not going well in govt. Job so its very hard to get the right answer if you have a close friend who shares his life qith you..its whag i feel
