Tony’s efficiency test on luxe ice: 8 pods Tony’s efficiency test on lv1.6: 8 pods Yet many bash on DLX, DYE, etc... for being “not as efficient as PE guns” literally technology is so far that pretty much every gun is just as efficient. Love PE (I shoot a Geo myself) Beautiful marker, and love the way it shoots but nothing too crazy special here. I’ll stand by my opinion.
The default tuning on LV1's have always been very conservative to give a good balance of reliability, efficiency, paint handling and smoothness. If you drop in the lighter ram, crank up the SFR's and reduce the dwell, the efficiency jumps *WAY* up.
I’m surprised the price point on these guns isn’t higher, seems like a sweet deal. Not a fan of the SFR thing though. I think I’ll stick with the g6rs for poppets
It's pretty high considering their only real selling point is a user serviceable solenoid. I wanted the LV2 that brad from PBRML mocked up with no at pipe and cs2 grips. Looked sick. Now that I'd pay 2k for tbh. Want an lv so bad. Just not a 1200 new 1.5
Mike Sheber yeah I really don’t see why they haven’t done away with the pipe already. I haven’t messed with the cs2s much, but if they’d make the grips anything like the 170 that’d be a positive
I love the LV1.6. Such a smooth shot. 8 1/2 pods is pretty good however not as many as the CS2 Pro. My CS2 Pro gets 10, close to 11 pods. Still though, the 1.6 is one of my favorite guns.
Why are newer markers so much less air efficient than the markers on the market 10 years ago? The Bob Long Vice and Angel A1 ARK were good for a case using a 68/4500. Is there anything on the market like that today?
Onyknutsen Both are super smooth but I feel like the CS2 is smoother just because it’s a spool. The biggest surprise in this video is only 8 pods of efficiency! The CS2 gets about 11!
i had a lv1.5 but sold it to a team mate now i have a cs2 and honestly man it's all about what u personally like. i loved my lv it was super smooth and with the light rammer and a tune it shot just like my luxe x and it was amazing. the cs2 is a tiny bit louder but it feels so good in your hands and it gives you confidence knowing you have one of the best spool guns available. it does shoot super nice and everyone loves it that i let shoot it. in my opinion see if u can shoot them both first and see what u like better. take care hope this helped.
The Ultimate Rental the 1.6 also isn’t broken in, tuned, etc. He was also using the heavy rammer which is smoother but has less efficiency, so the test is kinda flawed. The LVs have always been incredibly efficient and this one will be no different when broken in and tuned.

I’ve tried asking many shops how this works and they never answer. Are they really just choosing a gun from a batch and making a video with it then selling it as new? @lonewolfpb
The rammer, bore size, paint type, tuning, weather, tank, plus other factors will affect efficiency. It's not exactly a scientific test unless you shoot both on the same day with the same paint, tank, tune, and rammer etc.
Conservative Estimation: 8pods x 140 paintballs = 1,120 Shots 68ci x 4,500psi = 306,000 energy divided 1,120 shots = ~273.2 psi per shot. HOW IS THAT MORE EFFICIENT? 🤔 The Unofficial Test from Ryan Greenspan on the LV1 was 1395 Shot with same full tank would put 219.4 psi per shot... So, what the only thing is a rebuildabale and milling with worst efficiency?
Not exactly. The 1.1-1.6 definitely have efficiency ceiling than the original LV1. There are so many variables in an efficiency test, even a straight out of the box test, that you can’t directly compare any two tests unless you have the same everything aside from the gun itself.
Indictu absolutely not for the price of an etha I can get a geo 3 with the iv core which is gonna be so much more smooth then the etha also a geo 3 has a lcd board and for a etha u have to count blanks
You apparently don't know how to tune a LV. Out of the box they are tuned for winter conditions to be as reliable as possible, not efficient as possible.
@@johnnybgoode2333 what's the tune for a 1.6 to get the snappiest most efficient shot? I've yet to see a video doing an efficiency test on a tuned LV1.6.

Yes

FSFR - 5

No. The G6R is still the most efficient marker out there when tuned for efficiency, and it's not even close.
Needs to be adjusted to get that efficiency.
well yeah one of the selling points of the Lv’s is being able to tune or customize it for different things
also he said it was out of the box so it’s not as efficient as possible

Around 1100 shots, but they should of done the math for people
So sense you blasted a 1000 rounds out of it does that mean 20% discount? Because now it's used.

What pro V2 reg would y'all recommend for this marker
Get the standard so you have adjustability and remove the shims (save them). They run great at mid pressure
With the right tuning I bet I can get 1000 shots on a 45/4500
This one not so great altho is not tune but 8 pods is not enough I get 10 out of my cs2 and 9 out of my lv1.5
Well on a good day it can shoot 9 pods
how does my luxe tm40 get 11 pods
Because dlx ripped off planet eclipse's design thats how.

To be clear the efficiency with a larger tank will be the same. You'll just get more pods due to increased capacity.
