Down 4-2 in the third period, Jim Montgomery scored three goals in a row to take a 5-4 lead and win the national championship. All three goals came in under 5 minutes of play and also came from assists from Paul Kariya, helping Maine beat Lake Superior State in the 1993 Frozen Four championship game.
