Nice job! The .mov at the end really makes it look more professional.

We've got all the raw-files. XD But you're right. I think the point isn't something that's done "solely in Synfig", because I don't think most animators ONLY work with one software (they HAVE to use two different kinds at the same time, such as exporting animations + compiling in a video-creation tool).
But you're right on the first bit. Problem is that the Synfig community don't have many skilled artists (yet). So artists are always welcome!

Yup! Done with Blender. It was just to showcase the "fire" that I made with Synfig. ;) I think Berteh was the one who invented the method for animating fires in Synfig; he probably has a tutorial or something somewhere.

@dislexas: dragon at 0:49 was made with Blender by Tushantin (fire and animation with Synfig)
dragon at 5:29 was draw with Synfig by Genete.
You can ask them how they did that.

is synfig such a powerful software then why does it hardly has any tutorials what the heck i mean come on does the synfig developters ever consider that we want to actually learned synfig

In which case we always welcome skilled animators and artists to make more work with Synfig! :) You can also check out my channel (Sowldred) that contains a lot of animations done with Synfig, or you could also check out the company I work for (which also uses Synfig): channel/UCFthknDcyCF4KOZMecXK78A/videos

Hard to tell what the software can actually do when all the animations look to be by people who have no idea how to draw or animate.

Sorry, but as a demo reel this fails. Less is more - a lot of the animations here are great, but a lot are absolute rubbish. They look like half the first-time flash attempts by 14 year olds on Newgrounds.
Also, if some of it is done in Blender (and god knows what other animation software), it completely undermines the purpose of a Synfig demo reel. How do I know the best animations weren't done with different software?

This is the least impressed I've ever been by a demo reel.

this is not a worthwhile demo reel...i am very positive about the software..but it all looks like stuff from teenagers trying out a few hours after school.
