This is the first time that I am in this video and that I listen to House music as well as in the game itself, but it will not be the last time, this music is underrated
I've never got a chance to play this so I just watched a playthrough, It was still awesome experiencing it even if there's a commentary. (That's how I like to watch things that I haven't seen before-) This is truly a simple yet wonderful game with good soundtracks. I've really seen potential in this whole thing. I definitely think Dispossessed is a very great theme and could fit well with another best ending if there is one

Can we all just talk about how Ambient 5pm 14:26 is? Really. the bass entrance, the atmospheric noises in the track... just so soothing yet so daunting... And Memory! 29:36 I especially love the crystal-Ish sounds in the song. It makes me reminisce to the good side of my childhood.. So charismatic...
I haven't played this game but "Melody's theme" sounds like a tribute to the main theme from the 1977 movie House by Nobuhiko Obayashi. There's even a character called Melody in it. I wanna try this one out now.

I had the same problem and just spent about 30 minutes trying to figure it out, heres what I came up with: My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade: For sure this is where I was remembering the tune from before, but not where it comes from. Junichi Masuda - Lavender Town Theme: Definitely a nod to Hausu's theme but still not it. Godiego - Hausu (1977) - Main Theme: As Bark Bark linked to already, this is where that tune originally came from. two fun facts: 1- Thanks to @Bark Bark for making the entire game lol, it's amazing, and thanks for just replying with the song, you guys made this so much easier. 2- Holy shit it was so much harder to just try and figure out who did the soundtrack for Hausu.

I feel so bad for the parents. one of their children is chronically depressed and suicidal and the other is schizophrenic to the point of being hostile and homicidal. it must be so hard to go through every day with that happening, but bless their hearts for not giving up.
i just wanted to say that i absolutely loved your game and it was very well made and impressive, its sad how underrated it is but im sure it will get more known and popular soon cause it’s amazing. and im so inspired by it i hope to be able to make good games someday like it! however great job. also i adore the soundtrack it’s beautiful and also very well done i like causally listening to it sometimes. one last note if you had classes for teaching pixelated animation that people could attend to, i would :3
this song gives an almost stranger things feel and i love it. its so peaceful but almost adventurous in a way. truly a masterpiece and a beautiful game as well as beautiful music. Wish there were more games like this.

I really love "dispossessed" theme, it really gives you the strong feeling of "I have done it, but at what cost?"
"walking" gives me that creepy yet nostalgic feeling. Like I'm in a comforting but empty place.

This game really needs more recognition, I know it came out last year but it has amazing gameplay and a soothing soundtrack, truly an amazing game.
