i have the exact same association with Baroque. One can imagine itself in 1720, sitting in a chair, watching the musicians play the music, while the room is lit up by numerous candles and a big fireplace.
Twas on a sultry night of yore as I sat whiling away the hours, quite absorbed in pleasant reverie as I listened to very similar strains as this upon an old radio in the then habitation of my maiden fair, when unexpectedly some besotted acquaintance of hers from the tavern came to call. As if this unpleasant and unwelcome intrusion wasn't enough, this wildly impertinent jackanapes had such unmitigated gall to comment, The radio sounded like it was "bah-roke." Well! You can imagine the uncontrollable rage! Rest assured my friends, I gave this flippant rascallion a cuff in the gob he wouldn't soon forget and replied, So then is thy jaw!
Baroque music is the immortal lullaby o the soul, and soothe and moisturize the dryness of the soul, and evoke comfortable feelings, and embodies the musical aesthetics of Baroque
THANKS ! These are all I LOVE : the MUSIC of OLD MASTERS, the PAINTINGS of the OLD MASTERS . It splash me with a great BREEZE TO REFRESH MY SOUL from the TIME before time
beyond its music the Baroque period epitomises the height of Europe in art, architecture, philosophic and scientific dynamism, strength of monarchies and is the culmination of hundreds of years of progress and growth.
Majestic early baroque is.. every bit of it, there shouldn't be any other music to open ones mind /heart of true privilege to just exist ..as well as grandeur of life gods must be listening to same, we ar part of them as we ar made in their image, Ar we not?!
Anyone know the song name at 29:27 ?😱💕😱💕😱💕 Edit: Nvm I found it in the description 🤩 "Choral in Dulci BuxWV 197". That type of listing doesn't always list all songs in videos or sometimes out of order from my experience on other videos so I was a bit weary, first try was a success thankfully 😅
I don't need to listen to anything to feel like that. I'm surprised that's not talked about more, it seems to be very common. I have the exact same thing, I have heard it called "temporal disphoria". Makes sense, if you can feel like you are actually another gender or even species, or makes sense that some people would just feel out of place in the social construct of their era. Not sure where I do belong, but it's not here and not. I would say middle to late 19th century. I get sick of people acting like I am just retarded and think that life was the Golden Age back then, I understand we have it a lot better in many ways. But that doesn't make me feel any different about it. And I'm not entirely sure all the benefits today are worth the drawbacks, not for me at least.
Baroque is without a doubt my favourite era of classical music. It's such a traditional and warm sounding style.

@@OHAApple I always think about a very similar scene whenever I listen to Baroque.
@@humanbeing4841 yeah, it's really the deeper level of experience that classical music provides, that most modern music can't provide.

@@baluga_puspin_cat Terribly kind of you, M'Lady.
These music will transcend time , race, and country, and universal
The nostalgia and warm and comfort of Baroque music are irreplaceable , and full of admiration and emotion
Agree all ...but perhaps not nostalgia. Wait! Baroque produces nostalgia for my own past - not the Baroque era. I think that's what you meant!
