Something to note about the original Mad Max: the US distributors thought that audiences wouldn't be able to understand the Austrian accents, so re-dubbed the movie with American actors. The UK DVD includes both the original audio and the US dub, but annoyingly the dub is the default audio track, so make sure to go to the language set up menu and switch to the Australian English option before you watch it.
