Love this video, lesser known scenes are great because all the other well-known spots have been over photographed. That shot of the autumnal poplars is magic. Never frown at icm 😊 it can be absolutely awsome with the right shot, the icm with the autumnal trees was C magic and worked really well
I loved watching you and Lisa on location, once again. After participating in your Winter NZ workshop (BTW - that's a must do, fellow photographers), it was wonderful to see the NZ's offering of Autumn colours. Thank you for the detail in your explanations about settings and composition. I'm always learning from you. I can't wait to return to NZ.
I’m not sold on the two tree image. Something in the quilter side of me I think. But that last location blew me away! Autumn is my favourite season and those colours make me smile.
Fantastic video, as always Brett. I'm amazed at how you can turn a relatively ordinary scene (well, as ordinary as you get in NZ) and then turn it into an incredible piece of art. Thank you for taking the time to shoot the video and then posting it 🙂
I love that you can make the most out of a scene and get great shots. Thanks for always providing educational advice - I’ll get onto one of your workshops one of these days 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
paradise 💚💙🧡
good work brett
Thankyou

Love hearing your thought process as to how you compose your shot and your settings. What tripod do you use?
Kerry thanks !

Always enjoy your videos Brett.
Just curious what the drone policy is in that area ?
Thanks Dean !!!
I’m not sure on the drone regs in that area, you’d have to look that up.
Brett, I have 5 days to spare in South Island… any suggestions on where to go?
