i used to do that to with the kingdome hearts 2 final mix with terra.
If you fight normally, the song is rooting for you
But if you've chosen the frenzied flame ending, the song is rooting for Radagon
Age of the Stars, too.
Marika is probably in favor of the Age of Stars, and it is one of the best defenses against the Age of Dark.
Or the seabed curse
@@GeneralmackaFrom what I heard in one of the Elden Ring lore videos, all the "becoming the Elden Lord" endings are basically what the Greater Will and Marika are expecting you to take (yes, that includes Dung Eater's ending as well), while the Age of the Stars and Frenzied Flame endings aren't. To put it simply, those two are not on the script that the GW and Marika have originally laid out.

OOOHHHHHHHH, ELDEN RING
1:14 FUCKING CHILLS
The angelic female scream at the end of the first chorus really encapsulates Queen Marika's anguish and the hardcore violins and drums that follow fit in perfectly with Lord Radagon's relentless attempts at protecting the final shard of the Elden Ring no matter the cost.
after playing Elden Ring for more than 100 hours reading the items' descriptions and watching lore videos or reading lore explanations, I knew in my bone that Lord Radagon is loyal to _the Greater Will_ and that's why we fight him instead of Queen Marika. Radagon's Great Rune even sealed the thorns on the entry to the Erdtree, it means he is the one which prevents every Tarnished to enter the Erdtree and brandish the Elden Ring into a new Order which pure and separated from the influence of _the Greater Will_ Itself. Radagon is just a poor loyal servant of his God which abandoned his true love(Rennala) and betray his half-soul(Marika) (:
truly a fitting final boss
@@Caliban743 it wasmt sacrificed, the tarnished kills radagon, then the elden ring turns into the elden beast and turns radagon corpse into a sword
In fact Radagon is already dead. Check out the videos that show him up close. He's got his eyes closed all the time, he's just a shell, we fight the Elden Beast all the time. And Elden Beast chose his avatar for being loyal. Marika/Radagon likely died while imprisoned on the Erdtree. Already in the trailer when the Elden Ring was destroyed, Marika/Radagon's body is already "breaking", destroying itself for inside, as if it were a vase (which is what they are). This happens because it's Elden Beast coming out of the "vase" to solve the betrayal that Marika did.
He lost his heart.
So final boss is basically abusive husbando? Gotcha.
People have been wondering, why does the track play for radagon?
The truth is, my fellow tarnished, that radagon is dead, the elden beast simply revived his corpse…
…It is us who the theme plays for
is like FFXIV endwalker the final boss 2nd phase song is the main character song as a boss theme
@@Lugzan0 another one is on mgr when fighting Armstrong
Same argument could be used for the elden beast. The elden beast is the embodiment of order, quite literally the elden ring itself, and therefore would have no theme signifying good or evil. That's the tranquility in the beginning, then the part where it goes into those beautiful violins as our theme, reminiscing on all the trials we've overcome up to this point.
Damn you guys believed your own hype too much 😂
It plays for the Elden Ring, which you only happen to be in its presence during the final battle in the game, in THAT form.
That's why the theme changes when you fight the Elden Beast, it's not the Elden Ring in its runic form housed in an Empyrean. It takes another form 😊
Now the reason why Farum Azula is crumbling being that we traveled in time and beat him when he was holding the whole thing together...
That's a more interesting theory 😄
We got a pretty sweet theme then.
This isn't like Dark Souls. You're not delaying the inevitable this time.
This isn't like Bloodborne or Sekiro. A melancholic dual to put some old man out of his misery while a city/clan withers behind you.
This world can be saved. There is still a future. And you gotta kick this guy's brittle ass to save it.
Brittle? Dude literally pounds you into the ground with Marika's Hammer like he's pounding a piece of raw meat.

-Pound me like Marika, Radagon

Radagon's theme is so good they made a game out of it.
The theme we hear every time we boot up the game culminates in our journey's climax. From a quiet nothing, the Tarnished rise to conquer the insurmountable, and it all leads to one epic clash after another as the Tarnished rise from nothing to the very topic of legend. Each defeat stings, some more than others. And in our anger, frustration, despair, or combination of all, some of us put the controller down and leave our ventures in the Lands Between behind for a time... We return to the nothing we came from. Fated, as it would seem, to die in obscurity.
But not unlike the call of Marika's Grace, the promise of a grand adventure returns us to the Title Menu, and our Tarnished to their toil. And with perseverance, our labors in the Lands Between begin to yield fruit as one by one our obstacles fall before us. Godrick eats his words of you. Malenia concedes to your strength. Godfrey acknowledges you as his equal. With every obstacle overcome, our journey is told through the heralding orchestration of this epic melody that we've heard since the very beginning of our journey.
Until at last, the only obstacle that remains is Radagon of the Golden Order.
For many, Radagon is the most perilous challenge the Tarnished face, and that is most definitely reflected in this theme. He is our final challenge, and the greatest threat to the success of our quest, and in this final battle against him, the future of the entire world rests upon our humble shoulders. Truly, a theme worthy of such a warrior, right?
Now what if we looked at this encounter from Radagon's perspective? There has never been anything more important to this man than the Golden Order; everything he has ever done has been as a result of his dedication to it. He has fought for it, loved for it, betrayed for it, conceived for it. And despite all he had given and sacrificed for this devotion, he was forced to watch as everyone else around him betray every single one of his ideals and spat on the order he cared more for than all else. Miquella and Ranni conspired to uproot the order in favor of ushering in their own eras. Rykard sought to consume everything and gave himself unto blasphemy. Radahn found himself beckoned the glorious temptations of war. Even Marika, his wife - his other half, in every sense of the word - diverged from the Golden Order and the Greater Will when she shattered the Elden Ring.
This man has watched as all he has cared about has been threatened by the very people he thought he could trust the most to help in upholding it. And now, after his city has fallen, after his precious Erdtree has been burned to cinders, after the world has crumbled around him, all he has left to cling to is the sanctity of his Golden Order. A sanctity that we Tarnished now threaten. Radagon recognizes that if he falls to us, then it is likely that so too shall the world as he has known it, the world he has given everything to keep safe. The future rests upon his humble shoulders as he faces his own greatest challenge yet - us.
From the very first time we booted up the game, we've been bolstered by this theme, making our way through the insurmountable towards this climactic conclusion. This theme may play during Radagon's battle, but the theme does not belong to him. It belongs to us, the Tarnished. It always has.
Facts we suffered bleed struggle and witness death an every corner defeat but we have risen above everything else
Couldn’t have put it better myself, friend. I doubt anyone could have.
If your GF texts you something this long, your over!
This makes so much since. I mean, this is also the song that plays over the opening sequence and calls our tarnished to action.
My only regret is to not have any NPCs helping in this fight, no matter what you did in the game. Not because the fight is too difficult, but because it would be cool to have some allies in terms of story.
“Arise ye Tarnished

Fitting that the first part of the final boss soundtrack is the epic, bombastic version of the opening menu theme, because we've finally come full circle here: After all those trials and tribulations, you finally stand before the Elden Ring and the Second Elden Lord is the last hurdle to overcome...or what's left of him, at least.
@Just a guy who needs POWER For real...I'm fighting him/the Elden Beast right now and have already lost count of the number of times he's caught me with his every-so-slightly delayed hammer strikes and slams...

The moment I heard this playing when I fought Radagon, I was not surprised. Because it was the most fitting theme for the final boss. Elden Ring did not disappoint me at all! Best game of the year, hands down!
I swear I almost teared up. After hearing it every time I loaded the game, when it started playing for a boss I knew it was about to be over. If it was a sad song instead of a hype song, like Gehrman's or Gwyn's, I think I would have cried lmao
I love Elden Ring but nah, this game is wacky and hella unfinished. Open World is Average, Horse Mechanics are bad and need fixes. Combat is Gold, Skills are Gold. Bosses are overall Average and only 7 good bosses in the entire Game. Plot is Average. Music is Peak.
Overall, its a decent Game but nothing worth hyping. And i am someone who started with Demon Souls.
@@SolaireOfToast I personally disagree but I can see your points(Mainly the open world part), I think it's a great game that could get some improvements in the future.
@@SolaireOfToast bro is clearly biased but hey its ok to not like amazing games and like objectively worse games like the previous souls games (other than sekiro).
@@raafeyalikhan4400 Thats just the opinion of a Fanboy. I would only call DS 3 better than Elden Ring. DS 1 is Average af and has really bad gameplay and mechanics. DS 2 literarly trash but somehow i enjoyed it.
DS3 has many flaws, but overall good combat and really good bosses.
But none of the Souls Games is above 6/10 and i even own a Solaire Figure and Dark Souls Wallet. So you can believe me when i say, i am a DS Fanboy. But being a Fanboy and hyping something without reason, doesnt need to go hand in hand.
Dont forget this man can parry BULLETS if u use the gun mod
Edit: also had a quote i saw on another video: "he isnt beating you with a hammer, he's building you into a better player"
Edit edit: if u didnt know, this isnt radagon's theme. Radagon lost himself and became a slave to the golden order long ago. This is YOUR theme
With his bare hand no less
True
Im sorry what 👁️👄👁️
FromSoftware really thinks on everything huh lol
You really think he is just a " man" , bro is a literal God 😂
I don’t think the second edit makes sense. Sure, Radagon could’ve lost himself and became an empty shell, just a vassal for the Greater Will, but, that wouldnt make this theme not his. Especially when you hear the shattering of the Elden Ring and a woman screaming (whom is most likely representative of Marika). Why would that be in our theme? We weren’t there to witness that, our character may or may not know about it depending on what quests we choose, so, it wouldn’t make sense for our theme. It’d make perfect sense for Radagon’s though, as he was who had tried to repair it and may or may not have been there to witness. He is only trapped inside the Erdtree because of Marika shattering the Elden Ring, so, whether he is a conscious person still or just a husk, it’d make perfect sense for Marika shattering the Ring to be in his theme, not the tarnished. Also, invading tarnished themes and other battle themes against tarnished mostly do not have vocals, they’re insignificant tarnished after all. So I don’t think it’d make much sense for our theme to be the only tarnished theme with fairly prominent vocals. But the theme for the hero and god of the land would definitely have vocals in his theme to express his might, like most other major boss themes
You might say that it does make sense for our theme to have vocals because we are the tarnished who has surpassed all the demigods, therefore it could make sense for the Final Battle to be our theme as we are not like the other tarnished and are notably stronger and mightier, but, in Godfrey’s second theme where he is revealed as Hoarah Loux; despite being the leader of the tarnished and (asides from you) is undoubtedly the strongest tarnished to ever have lived, he does not have prominent vocals in his theme. Despite him killing the Fire Giants, facing the Dragon Lord alone and living, and leading the long march in the inhospitable Badlands, he does not have prominent vocals in his theme, he only has one section where there are prominent tribal-like chanting, the rest of the vocals in that theme are very quiet and in the background despite his exuberant might. So he, the strongest Tarnished, barely has any vocals, why would the player, someone hardly stronger than Hoarah Loux, have far more prominent vocals in their theme? Prominent vocals are mainly reserved for lords and demigods, as shown when Godfrey displayed himself as the First Elden Lord: he had extremely prominent vocals in his theme. Thus, it is clear that the Final Battle theme is not our theme, tarnished do not have vocals in their themes, and if they do, it’s usually very insignificant to the theme, so this the Final Battle theme makes sense most for Radagon, a god, as it has very prominent vocals.
Upping the difficulty of radagon and turning elden beast into a spectacle boss a la divine dragon would have made the ending so much better.
Hard agree
Make elden beast a mounted fight
Yeah it felt like they wanted the Elden beast to come in similar to how Moon Presence does when you beat Gehrmen, like "Holy shit, this is a literaly god beyond my understanding." But it feels lack luster because after the spectacle that is Radagon it feels too peaceful. I enjoyed it nonetheless but I do think it would have been better if it resurrected him and they fought together while they used Radagon as a vessal by funnelling all their power into him in one last ditch effort.
This is actually a very good solution to that ending's sole issue of it being shared by the Elden Lord and the Elden beast.
Couldn't care less about fighting the Elden beast it's just pretty.
Radagon though, he is pretty but hells yeah the entire game has been building up to this fight...
I didn't massacre his entire family except for one I married and one stuck in an egg to not fight Radagon at the end.
Shave off like, 3-5% of Elden Beast's HP and give it to Radagon, and it should be good. Imo that's really the main issue with it, the "climactic final battle" part of it feels like it doesn't last _quite_ long enough and the "beautiful, melancholic reflection on your journey" feels like it overstays it welcome just a bit with how much longer on average it takes to actually deal the amount of damage to it you'd otherwise deal.
(Obv. reworking Elden Stars and modifying the fight to work better with Torrent would be nice but, in terms of really easy tweaks that keep the core experience as is that's what I'd do anyways.)
Radagon's become one of my favorite characters recently. There's just so much to interpret with his lore, and it's really fun to look into. I hope he gets some more lore in the DLC; maybe we could even talk to him like Vendrick from DS2.
I hope we get a cutscene of prime Radagon maybe speaking to Miquella (because miquella will be involved with the dlc) cuz we never heard Radagon’s voice
1:15 radagon feels so badass when that part starts, specially when he begins teleporting and throwing lightning at you...
"You don't have the right, O you don't have the right. In short, you don't have the right, O you don't have the right."

Chadagon of the Golden Chad
its very rare that orchestral arrangements have viola as the leading voice in the ensemble, since they're often not as popular as violin or cello. this piece though. not only are they the setting tempo for the orchestra throughout, but the dominating voice at 1:14 and throughout if you listen close enough. the sound of viola isn't as noticeable at first, but as a long time violist it immediately caught my ear and my heart off guard. it's so wonderful and badass :,)
it's also such a clever use of the instrument since viola is a mix between both a cello and violin, and one of the only instruments to use alto clef -- to me, it's very reminiscent of the identities of radagon and marika being an amalgamate yet distinct from one another
I play viola too and the first time I heard the viola part at 1:14 during the boss fight it instantly caught my attention. It's my favorite part of the entire piece.

There must be a lore reason! Worth exploring beyond what you have initially stated.
That moment when you hear the theme for the first time, you barely say " After all these struggles , we are finaly here"
This ost has the most gravity to it, the cutscene synching to this made my mouth drop the first time I heard it. That’s something very few other moments in gaming have managed to accomplish
When he looked back at us raising the hammer bro it was perfect. I wish we got to see more of him, Elden beast turning him into a sword was so stupid but tragic as well
Yeah i got quite pissed off through the whole boss Rush
Stuff like Maliketh or Second Phase Godfrey really were quite a mess, but then i saw the cutscene and the music starting while he stared back and had a massive whiplash; alone reminded me why i truly liked this game.
I take my morning shower with this.
Radagon is so badass that his theme is practically the Elden Ring main theme! Hey that Antonius Tertius guy leaked the official lyrics (gibberish as he explains there) of Radagon and Elden Beast and even revealed the singer who recorded the Elden Beast song, in case you want to sing along ;)
You know I think they had "placeholders" when they composed the themes, but I do think that actual lyrics that phonetically sound like the gibberish were eventually added.
The song of lament is the only one that has no music to accompany it, it had to be just the lyrics...
But for everyone's themes, it's the music being composed then the lyrics added.
It just would be wiser to do it this way.
All are in Latin btw..
@@samf.s.7731 Only song of lament is truly in Latin. We're not talking about Bloodborne. The Tertius guy already confirmed Bloodborne is the only Souls game that got many songs in Latin and even then with a strange, mostly grammatically incorrect Latin. The last three fights of the game are my favorite, the movesets of Godfrey, Radagon, and Elden Beast are majestic and give you the feeling of a true fair fight. Getting beaten by them was never discouraging, and beating them was a very satisfying feat. Mastering their movesets turn them into muscle-memory dances almost. All of Radagon's pain and suffering is put to the test in the face of his final foe, us. And then, when he falls at our feet in battle, he gets turned into a sword to be wielded by one of the very things he fought to protect. He left his family for the Golden Order because he valued its ideals more than his own life. He was a valiant warrior that deserves to be honored as such.
Only that Marika is Radagon, they are the same person. So all Radagon has done, was Marika's own scheme

I like how the art here shows one of the Elden Beast's eyes peeking through the crack where Radagon's eye should be. A subtle hint that we're not fighting him. We're fighting the Elden Beast's puppet, and by extension, the Greater Will itself. The man Radagon was is long gone, and now all that's left is a shell being puppeted by the very force he devoted his entire existence to.
Kinda reminds me of Dark Souls' Gwyn. A man who devoted his entire existence to a divine force, even sacrificing his own being for it, only to basically end up as a zombie by the time we meet him. Just like Gwyn, cutting Radagon down here could be considered an act of mercy.
This is what the bosses hear when they encounter the tarnished.

My only wish was to have Radagon as the final fight of the game, but without the Elden Beast as phase 2.
Just a final duel between Radagon who protects his ideals and a tarnished who fights for the throne.
The hammer beat as we fight like in the trailer is a MARVELOUS addition. Radagon is beating your ass, and at the same time, he's doing it so he can mend the shattered Elden Ring.
One of the most epic ost in souls saga 💥⚔️
gael ost is the best in saga souls
Fitting that THE Elden Ring theme is played during the final battle for the Elden Throne.
At 1:12 you can hear the elden ring being shattered. At 1:24 you can hear radagon attempting to mend it.
Id let radagon beat me so i can listen to this as he pounds me into the ground 😩😩😩😩
👀 he can pound me into the ground all he likes 👀
🤨
🤨📸
as a wise man once said: "he's not beating you with a hammer, just smithing you into a better player"
@@beng4ll967 this is great
It's been a whole year and when i really think about it. Are we the enemy? Are we the Evil ones? wasn't Radagon just assuming the role of being vessel for the Elden Ring only for us to decimate all of that bad ending or not?
I mean the greater will isn’t really good
Radagon test to see if I'm worthy of his daughters
Probably my favorite boss theme in the entire series. It's so damn magnificent. The Isaac Newton of Elden Ring.
The final battle, of one of the greatest games to *grace* our lives in 2022. Just the way he looks at us when entering the Erdtree, the best entrance to a final boss I've ever experienced!
"The Fallen Leaves A Story"
Our Story!!!
POV: you “that don’t mean shit” when your mom said “I gave birth to you” and begin a argument
After reading the description, i can confirm that you did a really good job on mentioning the artist!
That art work looks amazing
This fight is literally the best. It force you to put everything you have on the table, to fight with no hesitation. And the moment we won, we actually felt like we have accomplished something so great.
And then there is the Elden Beast boss, who force you to run 90% of the time because this boss love to swim. If anything, I would say that this is the polar opposite of Sekiro final boss fight.
Holy shit that thumbnail is amazing
Listening this while studying for an examn, ty a lot for making this. I just did a summary of three to four classes in about half of the video and I just need to write it to learn it. Hope you are doing well, ty again
my buddy after i wake up from a nightmare: Elden Beast? Phase 2? Buddy, there's only Radagon past this fog wall. Cmon, summon me so we can finish the best fight in the game?
Who out there listening to this on loop while getting ready to go out on a Friday Night 🗡️
name of the art? pretty please
That cover art is fantastic, kankan did an amazing job
The epitome of masterpiece
The Tarnished and Gwyn, The Lord Of Cinder that resided within him, looked around in awe as they found themselves in an arena nearing the end of their journey.
The fog encircled the arena as they looked around curiously before they looked up near the center of the battlefield.
Looking up, they saw the amalgamated body of Queen Marika and King Radagon, crucified upon a Great Rune as the mist seemed to shift.
The Tarnished and Gwyn felt a strange sensation around the scene, the air itself still as the grave, but energized, as if the air was waiting for the imminent battle between them.
The blonde, feminine figure was still, shattered and darkened in parts, as if the body was made of porcelain filled with a living, inky shadow.
_Suddenly, the figure moved their hands and wrists, and with some effort, the body broke the imprisoning Great Rune, shattering it like glass as The Tarnished and Gwyn looked on in surprised shock as the figure fell upon the center of the floor._
The Tarnished was at a loss for words as the figure fell, but he and Gwyn did notice that the figure had landed near Marika's hammer, which made them uneasy.
_Suddenly, the figure, trying to get up, grasped the hammer as they got on their knees._
*_Then, the figure's hair slowly turned from blonde to a very familiar red, a hair color they saw on Radhan and Melania, and became more masculine as it made one final effort, and pulled the hammer out of the ground, a blinding light enveloping the arena._*
When their vision returned, The Tarnished saw the figure holding the hammer up triumphantly, their back turned to them before they turned their head towards them, the dark pit now glowing with _The Elden Ring_ inside them, *_The face much more masculine and the body now very much like that of a warrior._*
The Tarnished drew his sword and got into a defensive stance as he realized who was indeed standing before them now.
*_Radagon. Of The Golden Order._*
The Lord Of Cinder that dwelt within him looked in awe at Radagon, his shattered body glowing from within the ink-like depths.
Radagon, having gained full control of the amalgam body, turned towards The Tarnished, his one good eye hidden behind some hair as he readied his wife's hammer in a deceptively relaxed, but ready, battle pose.
The Tarnished, his cape flowing behind him, readied his weapons from his beloved Ranni as he tried to keep his composure.
Gwyn smiled as he saw the two warriors, neither speaking, just reading what they would do next.
The Lord Of Cinder had seen his host struggle against great hardships and trials, fought against opponents both great and vile, to get to this point.
To see the lad actually facing his equal in none other than Radagon Of The Golden Order, and to have Radagon treat him as a fellow warrior with equal respect wordlessly made him realize that _this_ was the moment he had hoped to see.
_The world, he realized, would change in a clash against Gods in spirit._
*_The fate of the world... Would be decided by the will those who fought for what they believed was right._*
Can't wait to hear a part of this theme in elden ring 3 for the final boss' 2nd phase theme
This final boss is my favorite in the series
That picture tho...
The fallen leaves tell a story of how a tarnished became Elden lord!
Cool 50$ soundtrack came with a game in bonus
I love it sooo much! I will listen to this everyday while working in the garden so I go wild in the garden
wait a min whaattttt imagine ur neighbors heard that instense music and just saw some peaceful dude spraying their plants wtf...
I took 5 whole hours to beat him and I swear for 2 todays this ost isn't stop from spamming in my head , its just epic
People complaining about the Elden Beast fight are not truly born to experience the spectacle that was tackling a literal fucking God. "I bet Torrent was meant for the fight" bruh. I'm glad he wasn't. To experience this fight, boots on the ground fighting the first and second elden lord and then fighting practically the outer gods envoy was an amazing thing and done greatly. I hate the git gud people in souls games but the elden beasts fight does not diminish this one and immortalized it as one of the best endings to a souls Bourne game.
Right? It's not a damn dragon fight
man they should put elden beast first then radagon like his fate in the order is so strong that he break from his chain to protect it, seem more personal. Instead we got a puppet radagon but can't complain much.
