As a Michigander I expected the majority of this video to cover buildings in Detroit, it's easy pickings. Part 2 should definitely include a bunch of abandoned spots outside of Detroit, there are a lot of them.

Very interesting and great video. I been here all my life and you just taught me a few things.
Hung out at the Redford Bowl a lot as a kid, lived three blocks away. Put many quarters in their Asteroids machine and bowling was 50 cents. Chathams grocery was next door and Sanders a few doors down. Redford Theater a block away.
i’ve explored around flint and found easily over 30 different bandos you can explore from giant places to small places from schools to churches to water parks

Most big cities in America have areas that are rough and then areas that are nice Detroit the entire cities rough with just a few nice area spread in that's what makes Detroit so different than other cities I mean 1/3 of the city is vacant lots now from houses that's been torn down over the years

I learned how to ski at sugarloaf. Our middle school ski club went there and probably took those ski lessons. So cool!
There was an asylum near or in Traverse City that was pretty interesting
The TC state hospital is mostly no longer abandoned. Turned into apartments and stores
I thought he was going to bring up the Jackson pen. Wich is not in fact abandoned also one of my friends broke their arm at surgarloaf

fun fact: Detroit is not the only place in MI. Also don't trust Google maps. the Felt mansion is NOT abandoned as a matter of fact I am friends with some people who work there. great place to go if you're a ghost hunter.
I grew up across outer drive from derby hill park, never even knew there was a track back there!

FYI all of Zeeland has some wacky stuff like the 104th tunnel and Helder park not exactly abandoned but a lot of crazy stuff

As a Michigander there’s basically 3 parts to Michigan, the UP, Detroit , and Lower Peninsula call your video Detroit abandoned places next time. Traverse City was pronounced wrong which makes me think you only seen Detriot and maybe googled Sugar Loaf. The video could be useful for people wanting to visit Detroit. I’ve been there done that though, rename video guy would be better is I’m saying after all that.

It's because he's probably getting the info from online and usually online only shows Detroit or near Detroit or the upper peninsula
Man, these places make me sad to see them abandoned. They are really pretty looking, but will most likely have to be torn down due to rot.
It would be my dream to see a lot of these places restored.
I'm a Michigander, I grew up in River Rouge, where it was a better idea to leave your car unlocked. Because if for some reason a thief wanted to steal something, they would get it. If you had your car door locked, thief would smash the window and steal it. So, you had to replace the window AND what they stole. I moved to a nicer neighborhood in March of 2009 and have lived here ever since. Yeah. I've been here my whole life, Michigan is a great place to live and work.

Lots of tartery type architecture. Seems the world over, many places weren’t built. Just found(ed). Empty store fronts everywhere. Empty homes everywhere. Not just Detroit. All the food is gmo and chemicals. The drinking water is deadly. Be genuinely kind to one another, it’s the only kind that counts

Michigan has a lot of national forests and preserves. But people only know about Detroit, Flint, and Ann Arbor and forget about the remaining 98% of the state
