We’re looking at the layout of Jim Mathers on 4/25/22.

My dad had an Uncle in West Virginia that had a train display that took up his whole basement!!.. and he even got railroad cars for it from Germany and other European Countries!!

Beautiful Train setup!!.. I actually went to a Train Show about a half hour from my apartment yesterday and there were a few nice train displays there... I even picked up some cool 1/64 die cast muscle cars there-( Johnny Lightning 68 Shelby Mustang GT 500 KR,M2 68 Camaro SS 350 and M2 Carroll Shelby memorial 65 Shelby Mustang GT 350 R) as well as a 1/25 AMT 64 Olds Cutlass 442 model kit ..

Wow!!! That is such a really cool set!!! I love the little details like the tire swing and how it actually swings, and notice the little sandy spot under the tire swing just as it would be in real life. I absolutely LOVE the building that says, "Morrison's Doors", that is so freaking beyond cool and I wonder just how many people notice that touch, I Love it!!! The "BJ and the Bear truck" was pretty cool also, all sorts of details in that set. That basement would definitely be my happy place!!! Good one Lou!!!

Nice layout, but I prefer HO scale myself. For an O scale layout, this is massive! I've seen some HO scale train layouts that take up an entire basement, with massive helix track systems that can accommodate multiple train sets simultaneously on the top surface, and other sets are running in the helix beneath the surface.

as soon as I saw the cracker jack and lifesavers sign i was hoping to see the famous Pabst blue ribbon clock sign and sure enough there it was a little later on in the video
I myself want to buy that sign and see if I can take it to my local clock shop in town and see if they can rig a real same size size watch dial in it to work since the Pabst sign lights up yet the clock does not operate

Such amazing detail in the buildings. I notice different cities and towns represented on some. The news stand reads ‘Lancaster-Allentown’. From Pennsylvania? The Framingham is representative of Massachusetts possibly? The lighting on the many advertising signs are incredible. Did Mathers do all of this art himself?

That was cool but how do those people that live on one side of the river get to the other side? No bridge...do they swim?? Lol
They's great swimmers, and most of the time they just stand there thinking about swimming.
