Well you made me chuckle - never heard that before - "it pays to have four eyes". I'm gonna use it though. You're cute and you two make a great team. Love your vids!
Your husband is such a good sport and so supportive. You two definitely remind me of me and my husband. He always gives me a little review after I make new things. Glad your back...i definitely realized you were missing.
Mandy, all 3 of these look awesome! We’ve got. 3 In our home too. It’s my husband Mike, our daughter Kelly (who just turned 40 this past Aug) & myself. Kelly has Down Syndrome & she loves party food & all of these are made with ingredients that she likes. She can be kind of picky sometimes. I think we will make these for New Years Day & we can snack on these for dinner. Thanks for the great recipes!
I had a little tip I wanted to tell you when you made the chocolate oatmeal cookies. If you are using honey, peanut butter or anything sticky like that just spray your cup or spoon with a little Pam and it will slide right out.
Mandy, we went deer hunting for a week in our camper. I checked out some of your recipes and made them while we were camping. I made your pulled pork, with slaw; crock pot cherry pie dessert; creamy loaded potato soup, but I added 2 cups of shredded Velveeta cheese (wow!,) and my favorite crock pot chicken and noodles. The food was delicious and the hunt was a success. Our granddaughter got a deer and everyone loved your recipes. My husband is not a fan of pulled pork, but I think adding the beer to the recipe just really tenderized the meat and he loved it and asked if I would make it again. That’s the first time in 50 years that he has asked me to make pulled pork again. The sauce was absolutely delicious. I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for making them! Debbie in Missouri💕💕
Reminds me of about 25 years ago when my granddaughter graduated and I made many different items for her party. I had forgotten this sort of recipe. I bought a package of 100 tiny frozen meatballs, put them in an old fashing electric pan that just heats food and then keeps it warm. I put in the meatballs, chili sauce, grape jelly, and smallest jar of mustard. Delicious. Thanks for the memory I needed it.
Steven should go on the show “chopped” cos he says stuff like texture, hint, explosion etc. hahaha I really enjoy him. Lol. I love y’all bunches ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks Mandy. Kim
Looks yummy. I like that your hub & son are so open to anything. Its refreshing. I also like when you use what you have & tweak the recipe. Thanks Mandy
Loved these, can't wait to try them all. Little trick i learned from Paula Deen, peel the paper on the Cresent rolls and hit the container on the edge of your countertop, pops right open.
I love watching you guys! I have an easy appertizer that my mom made every Christmas eve(she's been gone 10 years). Cranberry meatballs. I use frozen homestyle meatballs (you can make your own) It's a jar of chili sauce and a can of jellied cranberry sauce (whole berry or not). Cook it in the crockpot on low 4 hours! It's super simple and delicous!
I love your style of meals. I rarely make large meals. It is only me and my hubby. My husband works alot of long hours. Which means we eat our meals apart. So this type meal ideas are perfect for us.
One thing I made at Christmas is chocolate oatmeal cookies. My grandmama made them and my mama made them. I waited until Christmas because they set better when it’s cold. I have also made the chocolate without oatmeal and used it to ice a cake. It’s delicious.
Hey Mandy, nice to see you again. Don’t worry about taking some time off. Everyone needs some time for themselves and their family. Everything you made looks yummy. Thanks for sharing these recipes with all of us. God loves you and your sweet family. God bless you all.
You know what made me laugh is when Steve said potato bomb ...hahaha a little crumb came flying out of his mouth!!! But he kept describing the food, but I cannot quit laughing, cuz yall make me happy and filled with joy especially with great bloopers!!!
For the chicken bacon ranch appetizer, you could put the square of pastry dough into a small cupcake pan, fill it with the filling, sprinkle with more cheese, and lift the corners to make make them stand up, or fold the corners in towards the center. Bake according to recipe.
I am SO glad you took time off. We all need to reset our buttons. Thank you for sharing your recipes other people's recipes and your lovely family. God Bless You all.
A trick to open your crescent rolls: remove outer wrapper, then tap tube on side of the counter until it pops open, less struggle and quicker to open!!
Here you go! I lived in Worcester England at one time.wuss tah sha. A very few people will use wuss tah sheer but the first one is the most popular and most used.
I love the Bob Evans taters!!!! They are delicious and so easy for a quick dinner with Salisbury steak during the week! And bacon 🥓 in the oven is so easy and if you keep your bacon grease it’s easy to pour into a container! Looking forward to trying these! Thank you for sharing 🥰
Can't wait to try these. I did once see a lady who did bbq meatballs on the stove instead of the crock pot so the sauce could thicken and stick to the meat. Made sense. But everything looks amazing.
Those look delicious! I have a recipe that is similar for kielbasa- 1 package of kielbasa, cut into 1” pieces 1 cup of beer 1 cup of ketchup 3 T each of the following Brown sugar Apple cider vinegar Worcestershire sauce Place kielbasa in your crockpot, combine all of the ingredients and pour over top. Cook on low for 4 hours or on high for two.
These look good and I definitely plan to try them. An appetizer you might want to try is sausage/cheese cups or squares. Brown 1 lb of good ground sausage, drain. Add 1/2 cup of ranch dressing and 1/2 cup of cheese (I use whatever cheese I have, usually cheddar). To make cups, put a heaping tablespoon of sausage mixture in mini filo cups, top with more cheese. Cook a few minutes to melt cheese. To make the squares, roll out crescents rolls and put in a 9x13 pan (seal perforations). Cook for about 6 or 7 minutes. Then spread the sausage mixture on the partially cooked crescent rolls and top with another pkg. of crescent rolls (seal the perforations). Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Delicious!
I sways use kielbasa. Grape jelly and chili sauce. I slice my kielbasa into disc's and fry to get some great slice dark then mix jelly and chili sauce. Even done this camping! HUGE HIT. DONT NEED A CROCK POT.
We are football fans (Go Chiefs!) and one of our game day traditions is to forgo a meal and have a "snack" buffet instead. Everyone gets to pick one or two snacks/appetizers or a dessert/candy, etc they've been craving and we have a game day snack buffet. So much fun. We will have to try all of these recipes!
I was looking for appetizer idea for tomorrow and I came upon your channel. I will definitely try this tomorrow. We used to live in Summerville South Carolina but now live in MN. I missed the warm weather there! Thanks for the recipe.
Hi Mandy, Some more great lookin recipes to try, Thank you! Vinegar mix all together Also add 4-6 slices of cooked drained, bacon cut or broken up bite-size pieces (I like to add right before eating so it stays crispy)!!! You mix all ingredients together covered casserole dish bake 350 about 40-60 min. Stir a time or two, Heated through. (You might want to place casserole dish on foil lined sheet pan, just in case) Or, if your in hurry, you can heat it in covered casserole in microwave, stir a few times til heated through 10- 20 min., ) . EXCELLENT MUST TRY!!! Thanks Again, for all the great recipes, along the way !!! -SANDY-
Hope your Thanksgiving was filled with a lot of blessings and love with your family. I feel like I need some time off right now. You inspire me to do just that for myself.
Missed you, but soo glad you took time off for yourself. You know we'll always be here for you!!! Definitely be making these for a party!! Thanks for sharing!!
All of them look delicious! I use the Bob Evans potatoes all the time and we love them! Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to try these. Missed you but glad you took some time off for yourself. Well deserved! Hope y’all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Sending you hugs 🤗
Thank you, sweet Brenda! It was much needed time off - some was to relax but some was due to other things going on in life. I'm so happy to be back though!
Bob Evan's are the best quick mashed potatoes. Tip: you may already use this but just incase. I buy cheap aluminium foil to cover my baking sheets. It keeps them cleaner and makes clean up faster. Like you did to cook your bacon.
Love how during the beginning of the bombs there was a bit of snort before starting the recipe... that’s how you know you’re having fun while working with all the right elements...aka. Steven involved! So cute 😂
I just found your RUclips site and will make these appetizers. They look yummy! Your accent sounds like mine! I lived 25 yrs in Greenville,SC and lost my born and raised VA accent. After retiring as an RN we moved to Florida and sound like a Floridian thanks to living in beautiful SC!
To get even cuts on your dough…..make your first cut down the middle then your next two cuts down the middle of each of those sections and so on… really works great
Been subscribed almost a year and so enjoy your cooking videos. The vibe is so nice between y'all and the recipes totally doable. Can't wait to try these on one of our Friday "apps" nights! Thanks Mandy!
LAY a sheet of tin foil on the bottom of your Oven, it will help with clean up. Catches all of the over spills. Learned that trick from my Mom! When tin foil needs a change, just remove and lay a new sheet down !
One thing you might want to try is to sub out the grape jelly with cranberry sauce. It's great and easy to find this time of year. I like using it much more than the grape jelly.
Great ideas Mandy! I decided that for New Year’s instead of cooking a dinner or ordering out I am making a Charcutterie Board. These would be great! I am doing the crock pot meat balls, assorted veggies and Ranch Dip, Cheese, 2 kinds of crackers, cream cheese, pretzels, homemade Christmas Cookies, and Wine! Thanks and love you guys! Mandy did you do a home tour?
Since it is just me and my husband now and he isn't a big fan of potatoes all I use is Bob Evans mashed potatoes they taste like homemade. I just put a few pats of butter on the hot potatoes and they are delicious.
What an adorable family!!! These looked soooo good, so I'm going to be making them all for my family. They're gonna love it! I loved when you were having a hard time opening the pillsbury roll of dough and your husband's hand comes into view to help you. Don't you just love helpful husbands? I have one of my own! :) I just subscribed. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you, too!
Glad you are back! You look beautiful

After you peel back the label, hit the container sharply on the edge of your counter and it will open up easily. And those all look yummy!
Glad to see you! We missed you! We understand family time and me time is a must!
Bobs evans is so so so so good. They have so much flavor all by themselves. I promise you that’s what made those bites.
So cute how your son stuck his face around the corner, he didn't want to miss out on the flavors. 🌼
Fry the kielbasa first. Mix the rest in a pan on the stove. WHY A CROCKPOT ON UNCOOKED KIELBASA??
@iboopyournose7307 the kielbasa is actually fully cooked already.
Great ideas.❤
I just found you and I'm so glad I did. You don't use hard to find products and make everything seem so easy. You are now my go-to cooking site.
Thanks for this! You did a beautiful job showing how to make the appetizers and your husband absolutely sold them to me. Sweet couple!

Bob Evan's are the best quick mashed potatoes.
Tip: you may already use this but just incase.
I buy cheap aluminium foil to cover my baking sheets. It keeps them cleaner and makes clean up faster. Like you did to cook your bacon.
My husband is so picky ( he likes a good home cook meal nightly) so i love your videos for the guys options! & all of these look amazing!
All of these recipes look amazing! 😍😍😍I think I am most excited to try the chicken bacon ranch crescents!

To get even cuts on your dough…..make your first cut down the middle then your next two cuts down the middle of each of those sections and so on… really works great

I love using crock pot liners they make things easier an clean up is a breeze.
