The Yermo charging at 42 minutes is because we were eating and those chargers are 150kW in speed. We normally don't spend more than 25 minutes charging unless we had to go above 80%. We were not sitting in the car for 42 minutes haha. No way.
Not trying to scare people. I leave mine on all the time and it does use electricity. I see too many Facebook post asking if their was a secret recording that Tesla does when they have sentry mode off. They got a hit and run. There's times that sentry mode don't even record when it's supposed to. I just leave it on and let people know how much energy my car uses when I do. 😊
I've been documenting the energy loss with sentry mode. It's been averaging 7% on a 24 hour basis just parked. Regardless of season and both Model Y and X. It's usually parked at structured parking. My Rivian uses less with Gear Guard enabled, only 1-2% loss (although it's a bigger battery).
An hour to charge is crazy and I’m an EV owner I take like 30-35 minutes. Not an hour

Sherwin, a very typical chinese name.

You must be very rich. Sentry mode is for rich people.
Haha, what? I drive EVs, I'm not rich.
Sentry Mode comes with all Teslas, standard?!? You thinking of Full Self Drive?
7% loss is pretty bad. Something is wrong.
