- The Princess of Wales stole the spotlight at King Charles’ official birthday celebration in London, making it her first public appearance in 2024 amid her bout with cancer.
Although it was a day to honour King Charles, many eyes were on the Princess as she appeared in a carriage, making her first appearance in six months.
In a statement released by the Princess, she says she is making good progress, but her course of treatment will continue for a few more months.

She's allergic to horses so it's rather brave of her to attend such an event with so many horses.
I am 200% sure her doctors are giving her instructions on what to do, and where she can be and not. I am also very certain that she will follow her doctors’ instructions to the later!

Most people with cancer do have to go to work. Do you have to take care of their kids and cook and clean and live as normal life as they can in pain going to chemo?
She probably takes antihistamines if necessary but she’s not in direct contact and doesn’t need to touch them.

Everyone is happy to see her back, looking healthy with her beautiful family, may King and Princess of Wales have a speedy recovery to full health. Keeping them both and their families in our prayers. The troops were amazing, impressive sight to behold, well done to all, so disciplined, precise, and always spectacular to watch. The brands bands on horseback from the Household calvary and Irish guard always blow my mind, it takes a lot of skill and practice. Well done to all, their hard work and dedication pays off, thanks for sharing it with the world.

She is so very thin, because of chemo. My mum went through that, she was very thin, but on a break from the chemo she was back to being beautiful again.

serious cancers, and co-workers and some of them who have
had cancer. Almost all have gone through the surgery and even
when found very early they still went through chemo, and it was
to fight off any cells they may not have gotten. I've ''never'' heard
of someone having adjutant chemo as a preventive treatment,
NOT for all the months she has been receiving, it now she's going to have 3 or 4 more months of chemo. Don't believe that one
for a second. I don't believe they are being honest with the
people. I believe she is ''very'' ill and managed to publicly show
herself for obvious reasons. I think this was the last thing she
wanted to do. She may look beautiful attending this event, but on
the inside I'm betting is a whole different story.

To be honest, I know she is thin, but i didn't think she looked any different to what she did before her illness. I thought the King looked tired, though.
She's always been skinny it's her natural shape.
She's always been very slim. She looks really well all things considered.
She is not a poor woman. She is very brave.
She looks absolutely impeccable! I did notice some weight loss, but she didn’t look extremely tired (which she probably was). How overwhelming for her. So glad to see her looking well and her trademark smile never fails!!

Plus, it looks like it was raining hard a lot of the time and being exposed to that wouldn't have helped their health. Getting a chill or a full-blown cold would have set both King Charles and Princess Catherine back in their healing process. May both of them have total healing!

Thanks go to Princess Catherine for having the guts to turn up at Trooping the Colour this morning with her usual smile to cheer us up. Hope she goes from strength to strength. Lovely to see the children and Prince William with her too. Good wishes to the the King for working as much as he can whilst going through his own treatment, it's nice that he has Queen Camilla and the other royals to support him through it all. Thanks also to all the superb soldiers for their wonderful expert display on their gorgeous horses. I get a lot of comfort seeing Princess Anne riding along on horseback too, she reminds me so much of her mother our wonderful late Queen Elizabeth11, serene, calm, reassuring and so regal. God bless all our royal family.

She stated yesterday that her treatment is ongoing. I think she was not her usual energetic self getting out of the carriage, and, yes, Catherine is thinner prior to her diagnosis.

They all looked lovely, Sophie in her yellow dress and Lady Louise looking so grown up. The Wales children always look well dressed. The King did well to be able to stand in the rain.

I find lady Louise wears old lady’s hats, they’re way too fussy for her age and not modern. Same with duchess of Edinburgh. Always a bit too frou-frou. Catherine always gets the tone and line right. She looks timeless yet modern. But they always look a bit frumpy or daggy. I wish she would update her look a little as she’s young, and be more streamlined. It’s not 1900. Having said that, Sophie and Louise are lovely people but need a bit of style updating that’s all.
I wish they had showed more of princess anne and Tim on the balcony. She is such a support and hard working royal for her brother.

King Charles standing in the rain and saluting the military really stood out as a huge gesture of respect.
