Tbh, it's a stretch to say it's obligatory to support Erdoğan. While I agree one should support him, when you say it's obligatory (wajib/fardh) that comes along with moral judgements in the hereafter for the person that doesn't support Erdoğan. Basically, by saying it's obligatory to support him, you're saying that the one who doesn't support him is sinful and deserving of punishment by Allah (as is anyone who leaves out an obligation). We are a democratic country, all parties have equal opportunities to campaign and have their policies heard. Turkey is a secular country, the constitution determents how we conduct our affairs. We don’t trust most of them and their influence on public life.most of them already have too much influence on un-suspecting people. Most of their followers are uneducated people. They are anti women’s rights, anti sports, anti co education, Turkish women worked hard to achieve the freedom and accomplishments they earned. Most Turks don’t vote on religious lines. Also we don’t like none Turks to try to influence our elections. We are a democratic country, all parties have equal opportunities to campaign and have their policies heard.
Turkey is a secular country, the constitution determents how we conduct our affairs. Turks are not going to allow sheiks, and imams to decide the future of our country. We don’t trust most of them and their influence on public life.most of them already have too much influence on un-suspecting people. Most of their followers are uneducated people. They are anti women’s rights,
anti sports, anti co education, Turkish women worked hard to achieve the freedom and accomplishments they earned. Turkish people will never accept segregation of girls and boys and men and women, if any one out there who thinks Erdoğan will be able to achieve traditional Islamic regime in Turkey should know even the conservatives wouldn’t allow it. In short Mustafa Kemal is still appreciated, even more so today. As we Turks look at the situation of Islamic countries around the world we thank Atatürk for making TURKEY THE LIVABLE DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY THAT IT IS and the free country that it is. Erdogan works within the Turkish constitution,no one should expect of him anything more than that. He is subject to the scrutiny of the National Assembly. Most of the muslims in the world doesn't even know what's going on in Türkiye, and falesly believe that AKP is the best or right choice. It's unfortunately the contrary!
Just as an example, without having to give you an insight why AKP is the wrong choice, check the history of these two parties: MHP, DSP. Those 2 parties are just as kemalist as CHP. They also fought e.g. against hijab in the past. But those two form a coalition with AKP. Strange right? These two coalititions are not black and white at all!

I mean why things are made so confusing, i want to make a couple of point,
1. The saadet parti is the most experienced and rightly trusted parti for the muslim in turkey and they understand the welfare of the muslim in turkey much bigger than any of the scholars from other region, the party understand erdogan for he had been with them in the early days...so if saadet party take decision to oppose erdogan,that should be trusted too..
2. Erdogan's political diagram is almost like turugut ozal and history says he didnt really make such remarks for the muslim...
3) about the revolutionary industrialization in the 70s lead by today's sadet leader temel keremellolu,which historically shaped the islamic revivalism in turkey and its development,its so heartbreaking to see the noble companion of mujahid erbakan (rah) alive today and his contribution is neglected by many of our scholars and erdogan is praised for the work which was not done by him...
4)I get that saadet today dont have vote bank, probably aronund 2% something, but history says, the coalition govt with 11% vote bank of milli selamet, saadet's previous parti, worked for the muslim much bigger than such of the big islam oriented secular partis of morhum adnan menderes, mason demirel and turugut ozal so on...
