I literally just got back two days ago as an Australian tourist. Our own government tells us it's a no-go zone as there is a high risk of kidnappings and terrorist attacks, and it's impossible to get travel insurance. There are a lot of checkpoints and you need a letter of approval to go to certain tourist sites but this is for tourist safety, and so the Taliban know where you are. The Taliban invited me for tea and food numerous times once they found out I was a guest, and they are the most peaceful and humble people I've met considering they have been invaded and at war for so many years. There were only 7,000 tourists in the last year but I felt super safe and hope more people can experience this amazing country full of history.

@@BloggingTheology -It would be quite offensive to suggest that Pashtun scholars promote or advocate for Pashtunwali. While some Pashtun cultural practices are intertwined with Islamic traditions, Pashtuns are not imposing or promoting Pashtunwali as a religious or cultural mandate. For instance, the burqa or chadari is a traditional form of hijab worn by Afghan women across various ethnic groups for centuries, and its use has been endorsed and prescribed by the government for Afghan women as hijab. The perception that current restrictions have cultural significance is often based on the idea that forms of hijab and gender segregation in Afghanistan are deeply rooted in Afghan culture, which may differ from practices observed among Muslim women in other parts of the world.

It should be noted that I would like to express an issue regarding security that this person praised a lot, which is that the Taliban were the ones who disrupted and destroyed security during the previous government, and it was the Taliban who carried out suicide attacks on educational courses. And schools, hospitals, and universities were doing it, and every day dozens of innocent people, women, children, students, scholars, shopkeepers, doctors, and nurses were killed, and it was the Taliban who were doing bandits on the roads between different cities, as well as the roads between cities. The villages used to kidnap innocent travelers and kill them, and sometimes they extorted money from their families in exchange for their release, and now that the Taliban are in the government and it is their responsibility to ensure the security of the country, they no longer commit these crimes and insecurity. Because of the security situation, it has improved, and finally, it should be said that the Taliban have committed crimes that if someone wants to mention and count them all, maybe tens of books, but hundreds of books, reminding of all the crimes, discriminations, and prejudices of the Taliban even It is not possible to count their biggest crimes here, and I ask the public opinion of the world not to believe the words of such people who share the same ideology with the Taliban, and go and impartially ask the people of Afghanistan themselves and investigate the Hazaras, Tajiks, Vazbeks and others. Thank you for presenting such a wonderful conversation! It really reminds me of the adage “walk in someone else’s shoes” Afghanistan was under so much distress for SO long, how can anyone look at that culture and not feel for their struggle to grow and heal. Healing looks different and although they may not have policies/ structures that we agree with, but hopefully this is their method to learn how to heal and strengthen their people/ culture. I also very much appreciate your understanding of Islam and sharing how although Afghanistan practices Islam, it does not necessarily reflect typical Muslim values. Inshaallah, Afghanistan and it peoples get the time to heal and grow in peace. Great vid!

A government has been formed by the Taliban for the time being (99) percent of which is made up of Pashtuns, that is, the Taliban's own ethnicity, and Tajiks and Uzbeks are only (1) included in the Taliban government, which is symbolic and demonstrative and has no real authority at all, and the Hazaras which constitute (25) percent of the population of Afghanistan, they have been completely left out of the government because their religion is different from the Taliban, that is, they follow the Shia religion, while the Taliban follow the Sunni religion, and the Taliban even use Persian as their language The mother tongue of Tajiks is Hazara and it is actually the biggest language of Afghanistan and seventy percent of the people of Afghanistan know it and can speak it and it is the national language of Afghanistan and the Taliban discriminates against this language and they continuously try to erase it and their language means replace it with the Pashto language, and in the same way, the Taliban allow many atrocities and discriminations against the non-Pashtun ethnic groups of Afghanistan, especially the Hazaras, which cannot be mentioned here.

Relatives and ordinary people should ask and investigate about the Taliban, even though people inside Afghanistan cannot tell the truth for fear of revenge and punishment by the Taliban, and they even censor themselves in front of the cameras of journalists or foreign tourists, and sometimes even because They praise them for being safe from the revenge of the Taliban, and finally, accept my apology for some mistakes in these texts, because it was translated by Google, the translation may not be accurate.

That’s not a small issue either. It’s oppression. It’s against Islam so I couldn’t imagine how they could claim that when the Quran says oppression is worse than killing which they are doing both. Very in-just regime if you ask me. I don’t understand all the advocation for them. I guess men could justify it all day because it’s not their problem right. I just don’t get it.

@@Cocolemon-pk6on A father and mother, within the means Allah provides them, controls the every aspect of their child's life. Is that oppression?
In a society, to get your basic needs, you need money. If you're an employee, is your employer an oppressor for being responsible for your wage/salary? In other words, your ability to meet your basic needs and have any semblance of purchasing power in society is dependent on your income. Does this make every employee a victim of oppression?
As for mental state, women that are mothers are actually more fulfilled than women who slave away to employees that would gladly replace them for another who will take lower pay. How is this better than a husband? Stats even show that women in the west are falling victim to more mental issues than women in more Conservative areas of the world. If this secular education was so great, don't you think that women would generally be happier with less mental issues in the west? Do you think about that?
Allah did not prioritise personal freedom in the Quran. Allah prioritised us worshipping Him and keeping the family ties. If your "individual freedom" causes greater harm than benefit, then you are not entitled to those freedoms.
You are better off feeling insignificant than feeling big. At least you'll remain humble. How is this a bad thing?
Yes sadly there are men who do not fear Allah with regards to their women. How exactly does this justify female education? How can you guarantee that the institution you get your degree from will not oppress you? How do you guarantee your employer will pay your wages and not burden you with that which you can't bear? When it comes to Islam you will think of all the worst what ifs. With secular education your Husnu Thann is maxed out. Check your iman.
On the subject of iman, how will the pursuit of a degree, job, and "personal freedom" increase your iman?

I’m not a big Taliban supporter, but from a broader perspective, the major outrage over the women’s treatment is quite absurd when you consider that for the overwhelming majority of human history in the overwhelming majority of civilizations from all corners of the planet, including Western civilization up until (in terms of broader history) recently, society was set up in a way that men were directed to jobs and governance and women were directed to domestic management and family care. I don’t get why people find it very difficult to accept the argument that breaking down this arrangement will result in negative consequences for society, when this has been happening and still is happening right now in first-world countries (and other countries as they too come under Western influence), in the form of: drastic decrease in economic stability (double the workforce means half the salary; in 50s America one man with just his middle-class income could buy a house, a car, and send his kids to college-in modern America that’s a pipe dream), sky-high divorce rates, alarmingly high percentages of illegitimate children and single mothers (which statistically is proven to be correlated with a huge array of problems for such children such as mental illness, poverty, unemployment, s*ic1de, crime, and more), lower fertility rates than all of human history which is raising alarm for an actual existential crisis and already causing major social and economic problems that are predicted to dramatically worsen with time (governments clearly see this as a serious problem because they are spending literally BILLIONS of dollars to fix it; search it up if you don’t believe me-the South Korean government for example has spent an astonishing two hundred BILLION dollars on fixing the fertility crisis), and a crisis of mental health as the lack of an available parent, one able to devote their time to their children rather than careers, leads to increasing child neglect physically, mentally, and developmentally (we’re seeing the rise of the “iPad baby” phenomenon-when both parents are too exhausted from careers, especially in declining economies where jobs become ever-more demanding, so they arrive home and don’t even have the energy to bond with their child, let alone be a source of guidance and affection for them as had been the basic human model ever since the dawn of humanity, so they chuck technology in their faces to numb down the children‘s restlessness and cries for the attention and care they’re so desperately and naturally in need for. When you take a step back and think about it, it is deeply disturbing that this is the normalized structure of family in society).
You could make the argument that these problems are not caused only by feminism but also other factors, and to that I fully agree, but it’s delusional to say that feminism wasn’t AMONG these factors.

Now I am trying to understand the Muslim situation worldwide and was upset to know how much pain the West has inflicted upon Muslim lands and that it makes it directly and indirectly challenging to uphold Islamic principles. Needless to say, I will support my brothers and sisters whose only wish is to be left alone and act according to the will of Allah SWT.
