So very helpful. I have 2 more tips. 1. Keep pets away from work surfaces. I've had cat paw prints on finished projects and dog hair! 2. Frayed edges after cutting: lightly run an emery board on the cut edge to smooth it if it's not too bad.
I do the exact same, when I’m tired and just have no idea how to finish my card, I put it away for a day or two and when I come back to it I have no trouble finishing it!
We have all made these mistakes. So helpful. However, I was impressed by the way your paper is organized by color. Perhaps you could give a shot video on your paper collection.
Hi Wanda, Thank you for stopping by and for your kind note. Ya know, I spent several hours pulling and repositioning papers. I did this until I was pleased with the visual layout. Many of the papers are retired colors that I'm not totally sure what they are. Most are current but many are retired. Unfortunately, I don't have a specific layout or color pallet. Thanks for stoppin gby!!
Thanks Brandy for the great tips. I especially like the idea for correcting mistakes. I have made all the blunders you mentioned. I love my stamp positioned too. It has proven to be a blessing, especially when making multiples of the same card. I really recommend it. It has paid for itself many times over. Thanks for being there for us. You are the best.
Hey Brandy The very first stamp class I attended, the person before me didn't clean off the stamp after she used navy ink. I picked up the stamp and stamped it right into the middle of a Petal Pink ink pad - I felt physically sick. I immediately took the pad to the SU demo and showed her what I had done. She was so sweet and showed me how to fix it by using a paper towel to "dab" the navy image to get the worst of it off, and then she did as you suggested, re-inked the pad. However, it was a frightening experience for a first time stamper. From that day on, whenever I use other people's stamps and ink pads, I always clean the stamp first. Have a wonderful birthday. Cheers Lynn
Hi Lynn, Thanks for stopping by and for sharing. Eek!! Gosh, I know that feeling as I've done many many classes and found other inks in my pads. Lol!! Thank goodness it's fairly easy to fix. Thank you for the kind note and for enjoying my videos. Stay in touch and let me know if you have any questions. Thank you too for the Birthday Wishes!!
Hi Brandy! Caught the replay! Thanks for encouraging your fellow card makers not to toss mistakes! I tend to be a perfectionist and many times feel like tossing something if it's not the way I envisioned it. Loving this series, thanks for all of the handy tips! =)
Hi Lori, Thanks for stopping by!! Sure, absolutely!! I never toss projects that I can't pull together. You just never know. Sometimes a day or two later makes all the difference. Thank you for being a wonderful friend and loyal customer. I appreciate your messages and encouragement. Big Hugs Lori!! Brandy
Thank you so Much Brandy ! I have watched your first 10 beginner video's in 2 days . Thanks for taking the time to teach, guide and help us beginners know where to start :)
Hi Ruth, Thanks for joining me sweet friend!! Oh, these mistakes are common and happen to the best of us. Lol!! Thank you for joining me tonight. Hugs, Brandy
Thank You Pam!! I'm so glad you are enjoying my Beginners Series. Stampin touch and let me know if you need something or have any questions. I'm always glad to help. Happy Stamping!!
Great ideas! I never clean my scissors! I think it would be a fun video to have 2 demonstrators in one video. You could make "errors" or "creative thinking" opportunities. See who can make something great out of someone else's errors!
OK I got a question what if I needed to stamp that same flower all over the cars or maybe even some smaller Stamps flowers around my negative space how would I do that can you do a video on that thank you love watching you
Hi Cynthia, Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate it! I love stamping multiple flowers or designs and creating my own backgrounds. It's honestly one of my favorite things to do and often share it in my videos. Is that what you are asking?
Very helpful video, I would like to buy the repositioning stamp tool! Could you please let me know where to find it and the name of it? Thanks a lot 🌷👍
Yay!! I'm so glad you are enjoying my beginner series. That makes me so happy!! Stay in touch and let me know if you have any questions. I'm always glad to help.
Thank you for all the tips you laid out tonight. I've made my share of them. The info you gave will help me stay alert or aware of what I am doing while crafting. TYFS!! 🎈🎉🎂Have a Happy, safe & blessed Birthday!!!🎉🎂🎈
How do you clean your stamps? Wash them in running water? Does it remove the sticky film? Using a clean cloth doesn’t really clean it well. The ink still stays there. Do you mean it has to look like new?
Hi Pamela, Oh, not to worry. It really didn't stamp much black at all. In the event you have a dark color that does ruin the stamp pad... I would clean it out with water and then re-ink it. Hopes that helps!! Here is a video where I talk about reinking stamp pads etc. ruclips.net/video/d4B7Ks660l8/видео.html

Hi Denise, Thanks for stopping by. Oh, you are correct!! It's best to put a magazine or pierce mat under photopolymer stamps. Absolutely!! I generally don't use a cushion for sentiments but always try to stamp larger photopolymer images on a cushion. Hope that helps!! Blessings, Brandy
Yay!! Welcome to card making and stamping. Oh, you'll love it!! Thank you for stopping by. Stay in touch and let me know if you need something or if you have any questions. I'm always glad to help!!
Well my question is is if I was to do multiple stamps I would put them all on my stamper Radice and then stamp them right instead of rearranging my card each time
You can sharpen the cutter blades with an emery board, just to extend the life a bit. You can get a few more cuts with that blade.

Hello from Alberta, Canada
Please tell me how you clean the yellow ink pad after you stamped in the black ink.

On the first example did you have any foam under your workspace that we did not see to provide cushion for the polymer stamp?
