I admire your determination and grit. Two admirable qualities that, no doubt, serve you well.
We shall soon see kite fishing success. Keep up the good work! And many thanks for taking the time and effort to take us along. Filming everything while trying to enjoy your hobby or learn a new technique is not an easy task. Not to mention editing it all afterwards.

Thanks for the postive words Wade. I have come a long way in a few months, when I look back at the quality and editing of my previous videos I see a massive difference. I am confident if the fish are there and I hit it at the right time I will absolutely smash it. Our coast is not fishing well at moment, infact it's been terrible with a lot of people blanking so to have the option to put out multiple hooks at distance may be the difference of catching and not catching. Can't wait to get back out again. I managed to get hold of spars for the kite so next vid will be trying out the Delta 🙂

@@CastAwayFishingUK The multiple attachment points for wind speed will be helpful. For me, the drogue worked best attaching off of the wingtips. To be fair, I only ever tried attaching off of the center attachment once.
I look forward to your future efforts. Have fun and tightlines!

From South Africa. This happens to me as well. Wind is never stable😅

Looks frustrating to get it right on the day. Keep it going maybe get a drone and get a bait out as well. It will come good you must have patience of a saint. All the best.

Thanks Vern, its a matter of time before i really smash this method on the right day. they use this method in New Zealand with a lot of success for snapper, grouper and travelly. I am now at a stage where if i upload any new failed vid i risk ruining my USP for my channel. next vid upload will be a successful one to keep the interest for my viewers, until that happens im going to upload just normal fishing vids. The Drone is something ive thought about but its so risky and expensive so it just puts me off tbh. Tight Lines my friend

hi love your videos just wondering whether you have thought about using the drone keep up the great videos

Hi Craig, thanks for your comment. The drone I use is a small mini and not suitable for fishing. I've seen a bigger drone go in the water they can be a bit tricky with line trailing and propellers

Hey Hakan, thanks for your comment. I'm enjoying this method even though its frustrating I think it has a lot of potential. I'm using a DJI mini 2 drone 😄

It was nice to see the kite launched over water. I have had a big smile on my face watching this one.
I wish to offer the suggestion to try a long line launch. Having your reel that latches may make it an option.
Have fun and tightlines, my friend.

Im glad you enjoyed it was was a pleasure to make this video. The kite handled it really well and I believe it will handle stronger winds compared to my old power chute kite from Paul's kite fishing systems.
I'm always open to suggestions and ideas. When you say long line do you mean like the ones they use in New Zealand like Paul's Kite Fishing where they have it all on the kite reel?

@@CastAwayFishingUK i usually fly next to a cemetery that has old tall trees throughout it. The air is quite turbulent after going over and around all those obstacles. So, I utilize a long line launch to clear the turbulent air zones and get over it. I will use one of the dog stakes as an anchor. I then pull off between 50 to 75 yards of line and then secure the spool end to the dog stake. Then I carry the kite down wind and connect it to my kite line attachment point. Grabbing the kite and taking the slack out of the line, one can basically spread and lift the kite into the air. Once it fills with air, the kite climbs in an arc. I can then walk back to the stake and adjust the kite from there.
I try to judge how much line to let out initially by the size of the obstacles the air has to negotiate.
It is hard to judge how high the banks are behind you in the videos. Getting above the turbulence and into the 'clean' air the kite usually handles better, as you know.

@@stringsteene Yes wind turbulence is an issue where I fly but once I'm 150ft it's all good. I've not had massive issues so far and managed to launch, but if I do I will deffinetly be using your method 🙂
