I still can't believe that the man I have considered my pro wrestling and hardcore wrestling grandfather Funker will never be forgotten thanks to his voice in movies and shows and his pro wrestling talent next level wish that a movie or show he was in had him do the ladder spot

The most hilarious thing about "Roadhouse" was the fact that throughout the runtime of the movie, multiple felonies (including, but exclusive to, assaults, vandalism, arson, and murders) are committed...yet the police make an appearance in only the last two minutes.
That's so 80's action movie!
They're bought off by the villain.
Any time an action hero "takes the law into their own hands" whether it's Charles Bronson in Death Wish or Batman, the idea is that the legitimate authorities are too corrupt to do their jobs. Often, heroes like that will actually fight the cops. Even heroes who ARE cops will go rogue when their department is compromised and they don't know who to trust.

To be fair. the police were under the control of a mobster so it kind of was explained.

RIP Terry Funk. "The Funker." If they had a legit bar brawl with every one of the cast and crew members, and you had to bet on which person was the one left standing at the end, the smart money would've been on Terry Funk.
This is one of those movies that makes me always think of the old ‘90’s TBS Movie Block, “Movies for Guys Who Like Movies!”.

As awesome as this movie is, I always have to point out that Patrick Swayze is the second most bad ass thing in this movie to a certain West Texas cowboy from the double cross ranch who is crazy enough to try and smothering you with a plastic bag or slice you up with barbed wire or try and brand you with a flaming branding iron. When I tore my mcl dropping into a half pipe, my friend came up to em and "you okay?!" I said, pain don't hurt. In actuality, it did hurt because I'm not Dalton.
Roadhouse is one of those classic 80s action movies that you can watch with a group of friends over a crate of beers and just enjoy it's over the top style of action.

This movie is an 80s masterpiece! I had just turned 18 when this came out in theaters. It was my rite of passage. ALSO: LOVED the Gilmore Girls reference! One of my favorite shows!

I think I accidentally saw this on TV once as a teenager, cause I was depressed and just binging TV. That might have been the same year I accidentally watched Valley Girl the same way.
There’s no way the remake is going to match the original. Wesley is such a great 80s villain and him dying by the town instead of the main character is such a fitting end to such a bastard.
I remember Benny The Jet as one of Sagat's goons in Street Fighter.
He was also the action choreographer for that film.

Just watched this movie with my mom. I loved after watching a bunch of B action movies, it was genuinely nice to watch something good. Shouldn't watch Family guy because I didn't realize that Dalton was such a humble dude who always ain't looking for a fight and not the crazy punching and kicking jerk Family Guy protrayed him.
