I get a kick (smile) from his theatrical moves when explaining evidence etc. Like so many actors they are different, in some cases vastly, from the part they play.
I know you don't like piracy. Neither do I. But Doctor Blake is such a great series, and it isn't released in the US for something like two years or more after the episodes air in Austrailia. Even then, our PBS station slots them in when there is space, which means we never know when the next episode is coming. This show would have a much wider US audience if you made a deal with PBS or another station to air the episodes sooner.
this is a problem with a lot of australian tv and probably a good reason why our film/tv industry is pretty weak, that being said some australian shows are showing up on netflix (miss fishers murder mysteries, glitch) so if this doesnt get picked up by another australian network it might find itself there one day.. and glitch's second series was actually co produced by netflix so you never know we might get lucky with dr blake!!
