Big Wave Surfers Nic Lamb and Andres Flores chase a new swell to Puerto Escondido, where the forecast has predicted massive waves. Puerto Escondido is renowned for it's beauty and relaxed atmosphere, but the ocean there has a darker side, with a history full of injury and death.
Featuring interviews with Ricky Whitlock along with local legends Coco Nogales and Oscar Moncada.

Cool to have a "Big Wave" circuit as it is truly a different sport than small wave riding and requires unique skills as well as big balls.

This video doesn't know if it wants to be an intimate surf documentary or an over produced Mtv music video.
The vibe was very cool for the first two minutes, then the actual surfing clips are ruined by over editing..

Puerto is heaven and hell. Take one step off the most beaten tourist track and you will see abject poverty.
