Depending on where you live there should be a food pantry, program, or at times local churches that give out boxes of food. If you can find one of those, they give a wide option of choices. But keep in mind it might be different in the state youre in.

my psychologist was being kind of weird about me being nonbinary, like she cited a detransition phd thesis at me and asked me if i thought that the dysphoria i get was because of external pressure and its just really stressful because ive been bounced around so many different therapists and counsellors and psychiatrists because nobody appears to know about common comorbidities, so shes one of the first mental health professionals ive talked to who's willing to adapt approaches for my overlapping shit so now im getting really stressed about if shes going to try and untrans me or something and im going to have to find someone else which takes months or years and i dont know what to do about it. i dont think shes actually transphobic, just ill informed but its still a bit dubious.

About the respect thing. Some people have different definitions on respect. Some people seem to take it to mean treating people like people (100% good, everyone deserves) and some people (usually older people) take it to mean treating people like an authority figure. *That* part of it has to be earned i think and might be what some people are talking about :]

@my.beloved.turtle2136 I agree. Whenever respect comes up, I try to split it into those two definitions. Everyone will naturally get my respect due them being a person (and it is very hard to lose that), but you have to earn respect for being a *good* person.

I only recently started making bread but make sure it's cool all the way through before you keep it in a container. Like I said, I'm no expert but my best guess is that there's moisture in the bread that's getting trapped when put in the airtight container and causing the bread to mold.

Some of the girl dinner videos will literally be people having like one spoon of peanut butter and a celery stick, which isn't enough nutrients for a toddler. Those ones are fair to critique, but the majority of girl dinner ones I see are just odd combinations, not "real food", or just a way to avoid having dishes.
we have been able to make a full on burger!!! im so happy that we are able to make a dinner ourselves. we use the air fryer so it doesnt take too much energy. im so happy we got to take this milestone towards caring better for ourself. its nice being able to make a burger ourself.

Early in my transition I had a lot of similar feelings and observations; observations that I was not welcome in any space. Queer spaces expressed negativity towards me because I was a man and in any other space I was unwelcome for being trans. This led me to hate myself for being a man, I hated that I wanted to be myself and that self was a man. Because of this I subscribed to terf ideologies and found truscum (that word haunts me to this day) spaces to hide in. I’m so glad I escaped that way of thinking because it saved my life.

The Crane Wives are a really epic band! I think they're classified as indie rock but I'm not really sure, in some of the songs it does feel like there's some country in there too. My favorites from them I'd say is Safe Ship Harboured, Canary in a Coal Mine, Tongues and Teeth, and Curses. The Crooked, the Cradle is another epic song! Their songs always feel like they tell a story or have a deeper meaning and sound like ear candy as well. 11/10 would recommend they make me want to draw

I know religions, especially Christianity, tend to be unpopular on here, but the new priest at my church seems like he's going to be pretty conservative. I know it shouldn't be a surprise, it just really sucks because my last priest was really good. His homilies were about loving and accepting people, and even when he was talking about pro-life he made sure to say pro-life continues after birth, and I kind of got the sense he was okay with the queer community.
Totally feel you as a queer and trans Christian. We got a new pastor in late 2021/ early 2022, who quickly revealed himself to be anti-LGBTQ+ (although it hasn't come up as often since then). At least I was able to overhear some of my fellow members talking about it and they're support for the community, which made me feel better. There are a lot of Christians who definitely give our religion a bad reputation, but I think some people forget that some of us are basically being attacked by our own people, yet still trusting to give up our faith.

I have two cats. One of them's white and tabby, (she likes to come sit with me in my bed sometimes) and the other one is just tabby, (she likes to bite me, and also likes running around).

To the first one, my t4t couple is the same height (me and my gf are both 5’6”) and it’s so cute being the same height too. T4T couples are the best!
