Hello. I’ve asked you questions before and appreciate your help. I’ve added supermoto wheels to my 300L. Needing an adjustable kickstand. How has your experience been with the T-Rex product? I stand on my peg to get up and over my bags. I’m short and not as agile as I once was. And at 200 lbs. I want to be sure there would be no issues with possible bending. Also the stand seems to be well designed for a good factory style fit. Thank you sir. 🙏🏼
The T-Rex stand is great, there was a problem with the old version of them bending when getting on the bike while on the stand but it has now been revised to fix that problem.
@@WOODZMAN That’s good to know. I have seen a review about bending. I plan to order soon. Once again I appreciate all the help you provide. Ride safe. ✌️
Curious on a 1 year update. I've seen reports of the stand bending when using the footpegs to mount the bike. Also seen reports that the issue has been fixed. How has your held up? Any bending issues? Do you use the footpegs to mount the bike? Don't want to waste money on something that isn't durable but I need a new kickstand. After my first ride the bike dumped itself when I parked in my gravel driveway and went to open my garage. It ended up busting the kickstand sensor and I am now waiting to find out if Honda will honor this as a warranty repair or charge me for an issue their oem equipment caused. Rally raid would be another choice, but the need to pay import fees seems like an extra hassle so T-Rex seems to be the next choice.
@@WOODZMAN Wow, thank you for the very quick reply! Sorry to hear you had the bending issue. Looking at the reviews on T-Rex's page it seems like they may have updated these sometime last year. Their product page also states "Strengthened and improved design". It may be worth it for you to contact them and see if they would send you another one to review. Side note, I started riding in 2014...while I lived in Az (first Tucson then Flagstaff). Looking through your content I am excited to watch you take some of the same rides I did while I was still a resident of that state. Particularly through Alpine. My first real ride after the MSF course was to ride from Flagstaff to Las Cruces, NM on my 2002 DRZ 400e while avoiding as much interstate roadway as possible. I remember Alpine as it was snow covered and freezing in comparison to the rest of that trip. Thanks for the content, I can't wait to dive into it!
@blackhallmanor6336 I just sent them an email. Yea it’s beautiful up there by Alpine. We have been up there on the Goldwing and I hope to take the 300L up there this summer
I saw someone made a kickstand foot out of a hockey puck, trimmed it to fit and bolted it on there, raised the bike quite a bit and made it bigger too. Cost probably $5. This stand is real nice too, but there are budget options if you're not overly proud lol.
Frank, do you have any interest in the T Rex Engine Guard Crash Cages? Would like to see your thoughts on how those attach to the bike and whether they would actually add protection.
It's great how you show how to do everything .The tools and the easy way. Learning a lot .Thanks!
Thanks for watchin
Helpful video!
This stand would still be compatible with a '23 rally I'd imagine?
Thanks for watchin

Mine did bend because I do mount the bike by stepping on the peg.
My is older so I hope they fix them.
Otherwise I really like it

Haha well that would work
Hi Frank, would you consider a centre stand for the bike? Cheers.
I thought about it. I think one would be nice.
Do you have any video, on how to get that headlight you have on ?
Mine was sent to me from the Thailand factory but I have heard that you can buy all of it from Bikersbitz but it’s extremely expensive
how about t rex center stand for crf300L it fits..??
I haven’t tried it

I seen that and they look good, I may have to try them out and see
Awsome i will be getn one of these
Need one of those for my GS that has a ridiculous lean when on its stand :(
Yea it’s crazy how they made it to where it leans so much. The stand made a huge difference
@@WOODZMAN looked at the website, seems they don’t do them for the GS :(
:(
Cool 😎
Thanks for watchin, Donnie
