Nice work. Try a high-tooth-count carbide miter blade to get cleaner cuts.

Yeah cause I just happen to have loads of mdf, work bench, pieces of wood and wood balls and glue and tools just laying around 🙄

This is really cool, but when are we going to stop calling things “hacks”? Life hacks are supposed to be easy ways to make things simpler, shortcuts. Not hard work, effort, and powertools.

FOR PEOPLE LEARNING ENGLISH: the correct phrase is "wooden half moons". Half-wooden moons means that the moons are made of 50% wood and 50% is other material(s).

Aww this is so pretty!!😻 I love how you used a ton of scraps and how it looks so high end👏👏👏 what kinda glue did you use for the mirror btw??? I tried a small mirror project and the stickies I used are already coming down :(

Probably need to use some brad nails for the "stickies" to stay long term ... Good luck!

That dark brown looked better though. Don't understand the obsession with "old aged look" with people these days.

i wouldn't call that an ikea hack just because you bought the mirror at ikea. and its not even a hack. you just made a custom frame stand for a mirror.
