Usually the Seer can't save themselves twice in a row. That rule creates more extravagant circumstances

Mark's reveal had big "call an ambulance but not for me" energy
Mark had it once they were both trying to convince him, at that point they had basically ruled Mark out of any suspicion. He played really well

Mark outed himself on the last day by opening with asking Zac if he big brained it and instead of healing himself, as he had claimed he had done every night, healed Sam. As a villager, it's equally likely supposed doc would heal himself, Sam or Mark. Why was that the only potential alternate scenario? Because Mark wasn't thinking as a villager.
Mark should have voted out Zach on the 2nd to last round when he had the chance. He would have instantly won.
Have you played Blood on the Clocktower? It’s Werewolf but with no vanilla villagers. Every player has some power/influence.
The most interesting mechanic in my opinion is that dead players are still active participants. So nobody gets kicked out of the game early and forced to just watch.
If you watch this full series, they struggle to even remember the rules of Werewolf. No chance we'd get a watchable version of BotC from them, as much as I'd love it.
That’s one of the problems with using playing cards as role cards. There is no info to help players mid-game. With BOTC the players are given a sheet with explanations of all potential roles in the game. Also the narrator is able to answer story and strategy questions. Plus, in social deduction games skilled players often use fake rules confusion as a strategy for deception.
Did literally everyone playing just forget that Mark explained why he would kill Broden if he was the werewolf and then Broden died? 😂
Well yeah, but if I was the werewolf, I would Broden to make Mark look guilty.
I think Mark is even smarter than they assumed because he knocked off the two people next to him. He knew that Zach and Sam sitting next to each other would make them more engaged with each other, and he was separated from that.
we need a board game series. surely. i want to see this level of intensity whilst playing a 3 hour game of wingspan

honestly, it would be so much better (not that this wasn't great). With BotC you can definitively prove things (or close to it). It seems like, with this game, it's mostly just conjecture.
I'll never forget my first BotC game where the virgin immediately outed themselves, and therefore became an honest voice (from the grave) to us for the rest of the game. I was taken aback by how strong a tactic it was.
Second game, I was playing my darnedest to help everyone catch the killer. I had so many people on-side and they listened to my every word. Turns out I was the drunk.

I remember my Grade 5 teacher forcing us to play this at school. This reminds me of a funny (or tragic story) i have from this game. So i was a werewolf and i got killed really late in the game and even though its supposed to be a silent game my 11 year old self straight up said “I was a werewolf”. The teacher got super triggered and made a massive speech to the class about not ruining the game and i had to pick up rubbish at recess the next day. This is proof that this game is so serious it is basically real life 😂

Great game! Will note, bad move by the mod at 8:19 to address the fumble regarding the seer. By doing so, she let the whole table know that the seer is still alive. It was a super early round so it didn't matter as much as it could have. Better to restrain input when you're moderating as much as possible. Tiny hiccup, great game regardless.

You should surprise Mark and go to hawaii together. You guys can go to a hula dancer restaurant and selected only mark to sit alone and watch because you guys could only afford one person to go. Mark sits down with some complimentary food and drinks alone for awhile when suddenly Zach Brooden comes out with a 12 inch soccer goal and a soccer ball and starts kicking it towards Mark, losing their mind if Marks foot touches the soccer ball. When Mark finally gets a grasp of the situation and tries to shoot at the 12 inch goals Alex Rodriguez will comes out and blocks the goal, degrades Mark and walks away.
What are the odds the donna boys had all the jobs in the first round lol
