I’m curious as to how some players are creating decks with 15-18 hand traps and trying to run a deck engine as well. If you have any idea as to a healthy number of hand traps would you mind making a video of that?
Nibiru is very similar to Mystic Mine when it was at its prime, is very good when people aren't expecting it, but it gets useless when it becomes a staple and everyone expects it. Honestly Ghost Sister is stupidly good if you are playing vs Tenpai a lot, they literally can't OTK you through her, so if your locals are full of Tenpai, pls side deck her if you don't have D Barrier or the right set of cards to deal with them is a good cheap alternative.
@@Jaganphotos most tempais cant afford the trident, also to set it you need to make a massive commitment in resources that can be stopped with another handtrap
I agree plus just make your opponent go first because all they can do is play one card is there field spell but you ghost ogre it as soon they activate it watch them cry because they cant do nothing so you make a field with enough damage on field to game them
I also thought the same about ghost sister but yeah the trident 6k is what kills you. Mostly because they do it after summoning the lvl 10 that doesn’t let you activate cards during the battle phase. Saying “most tempai players cannot afford it” doesn’t make sense if you go to a YCS, National or even regionals. At locals maybe you’ll encounter people playing a budget option but most competitive players will definitely get it.
Concerning the contact C, tenpai dragon sometime are greedy and don't play ruddy rose as many player that topped this week. Probably combined with one other handtrap is turn skip. Also, for the branded matchup, the only way to fusion it out is with guardian chimera if the dont play sprind (only crazy persons do). Finally it is not once per turn so if you draw a second one is game winning.
there's also the factor that veidos also makes it so the opponent can't link, synchro or fusion it off, because otherwise their field gets wiped out. Will it happen every time? Well unless you play cards to help trigger it and can't get rid of it, it won't, but it's worth mentioning
Centur-ion has multiple plays they can do under shifter and can even sequence their plays to combo then clear their graveyard to activate it in their end phase
@@rachidsouki8614 You are right. D.D. Crow is also good against VV and other decks. It can also be searched by Floow and any deck that utilizes the Nadir Servant/Dogmatika Package.
If they get greedy and started their combo with diviner you can definitely puinsh them when they summon Dyna mondo since it’d be their 5-6th summon. But yeah I’d side it out if you main nib.
I agree. Crow doesn’t provide a body but it can stop decks like Tenpai from OTKing you if you manage to hit the right monster and prevent them from extending
Nah man. Droll is still good in most main decks. Just because it can't immediately stop the 3 newest meta decks and branded does NOT mean it wont completely invalidate every other deck in existence simply by being used. It's a card you can easy enough side out against bad matchups but one you SEVERELY REGRET not having in the main deck game 1 when you realize you're facing most decks that fold to it.
While I don't disagree with your logic, it's not a card I would main if I can play 12 or more hand traps. The reality is that right now, because snake eye, tenpai, branded are the most popular decks. But I'm not mad at anyone playing it in the main Deck
why not play psy frame beta in some side decks? it stops the battle phase in you have no monsters on the field so tempi kills your monsters during battle once you have none pop the psy frame beta stop the battle phase. I know there are other options to shut down the battle phase but doesn't seem like a bad hand trap for that specific match up unless im missing something?
Because if they cant board wipe you first you can still lose off battle damage. Besides they can make 2 monsters that prevent effects during battle phase otherwise just run battle fader
@@le_Wurstlike I was taught at my locals decades ago it's like 20 monsters maybe 2/³ in main then 10 spells and 10 traps. Then synchro came with xyz, which changed the game in 2 good directions but hand traps where here and there like nib and ghost tricks
You can remove the handtraps from the game but you need to nerf going 1st or make toxic going 2nd deck like tenpai or the game will become cointoss simulator

Partially true. Dogwood helps unless they can resolve a trident with 3 attacks and 6000 atk

Retaliating C destroys decks like snake eyes and sky striker in master duel. Nets me heaps of wins and if they out it I get maxx c
Haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh since early days Pharonic Guardian and or just when Yata Garasu era.
The game has changed after roughly 15 years.

What about Dominus Purge? Given a suitable deck

Woo! New video. Let's go!
Every Tuesday Thursday Saturday!
Not a hand trap but what’s your opinion on EEV this format?
Please do a video on broad-breakers!
Can you do how to beat melodious pls :(
I will, probably next week or week after at the latest
Did anyone else forget about Battle Fader?
DD crow can be good if you can't afford ur hand traps
i just don't agree nibiru with voiceless voice bro.
100% Nib and Imperm are Auto side out vs Voiceless Voice. Best handtraps vs VV are Ogre, Ash and Ghostbelle.
@@BGLoscar Also crow is good since can remove Lo from grave. Crow is a very underrated hand trap in this format...

How can You seaech Crow with the Nadir Servant Package @@BGLoscar
Droll e lock bird literally destroy dark worl like nothing 💀
Crow deserves better than niche.
Debatable, I just don't see the appeal of crow over like 7 other hand traps which is why it's niche, not because it's a bad card

nib doesn't matter fire kings can get around it so easily
Pure can but FKSE can't always
Why no one doing best Traps videos 😂
Wait isn't evenly matched a hand trap?
It's a board breaker

if your opponent knows your are on battle tricks they will shut bp interaction before attacking directly or since the mp
Meteor Dragon prevents this

funny how Crow is in niche only cause people are too dumb to play it.
Right...hits so many things that bystials can't and is always a quick play...
Doesn't stop enough. Negation like veiler is better, as it's good against more decks.
Handtraps ruin the game.
No it helps to play going 2. But i prefer 3-6 handtraps and some boardbreakers then to much handtraos
