Heck, even targeting Diabellstar against Snake Eyes Fire Kings is not always high impact, but almost always live. Also targeting I:P before they can put her in the back row is always nice. Regardless of the package size, Bystials are still a mandatory side deck card imo.
Bystials were never bad this format. Pak only had the opinion of "don't be that guy playing bystials in a fire format" before the YCS so he could be one of a very few people playing them to so that he has an out to summon limit and no one else would. Summon a bystial at the end of their turn, your turn they activate summon limit, you can now out it with phoenix
VV is only a problem deck if you're on Snake eyes or fire king because the sauravis is live 90% of the time and actually hurts. If you're on kashtira, branded, lab, bystial or any other deck that doesn't care about ssing from ED and can summon under 5, VV is a good matchup for you.
Droll or shifter doesn't really do much, just stops part of the play- they still will have ritual+spell+lo on field, well shifter technically hurt because skull guardian won't come back after it leaves field, but usually they put they board under shifter pretty easy and with new support they even will be playing it themselves. Veiler+imperm usually has high impact if they didn't open sauravis. Nibiru will never have a chance to activate, even if they play branded version , they still usually end on 4th summon. D.d crow is very nice card against them. Btw if you have chance-destroh skull guardian by battle-so it won't come back via spell
Kind of jumped through video but did we talk about DRNM? That card turns off the board plus limits Radiance pop to 1. Sure, the new continuous they get in LEDE will help with this a bit, but right now DRNM is probably the single most powerful card against this deck, as VV plays through multiple HTs reasonably well due to not needing to normal summon most of them.
Or you could have just watched the video.. that being said, if it works for you then great! Doesn’t really matter if people talk about it or not, unless youre just trying to spread knowledge.
This is admittedly nitpicking but you mentioned that some of these cards “are good against branded and also voiceless voice” which seems a bit redundant since this is about how to beat voiceless voice lol. This was a very informative video though, thank you

Why is no one taking about herald of the abyss? It bypasses the ritual spell in GY prevents skull guardian that turn completely.
