I couldn't get into Cave Story 3D. The Switch version, however, is some good stuff, and it's easily the definitive version. It plays perfectly in Ryujinx as well.
I remember that citra used to struggle with mario golf (especially on android), how about now? I mean , yeah youve shown it in here, but the footage is a bit short to make conclusion. Thanks for the video anyway
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 yeah, i get that it is pc footage, yet still i havent been testing citra pc since 2017 or something (once ive got my own 3ds, lol). I mean, certainly for the last 7 years over gazillion of improvements were made for most of games. Particularly im just curious on how the things are going with emulating mario golf nowadays on pc at very least
This emulator actually Citra Emulator. Only Name different but if you have Citra Emu in your PC, you can see to use citra windows and setting, just the name and icon change if you open Lime running. So this unnecessary.
Well, I mean, they are updating the emulator. So while it is technically just a reskinned version of Citra, you can no longer find it officially. So Lime3DS is all we got.
@@Gamerowlstories The developers of Yuzu and Citra were the same, so when Yuzu was shut down by Nintendo, the developers also did the same with Citra as a precautionary measure.
which ones of these are single screen friendly? or rather which ones arent? dont know if i want to switch around a lot on my handheld. if it's just a map on the tiny screen on the right side, i dont mind. but switching between the two is annoying
I have recently tested Freakyforms Deluxe, Bomb Monkey, Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo, Boulder Dash XL 3D, Tetris Axis and HarmoKnight. All of which seem playable aside from some performance inconsistencies. Although, because Bomb Monkey is played with the 3DS sideways, the d-pad and button inputs don't correspond like they should.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 One consistent issue with emulating Nintendo games, is the use of the a and b button placements. Sure, they somehow feel natural enough on a Nintendo controller, but on any other controller, they can mess you up. Especially in some games where the main in-game button is b, like for example: jumping and accelerating.
SMT series are the best JRPG on 3DS
I was wondering what to for 3DS emulation now that Citra is gone, so thanks for putting this showcase together! ^_^
Thx for this new video. Could you please do a ps vita exclusive with vita3k video ? Thx !
Eventually I will. First I have a few videos in the pipeline.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 Freedom Wars on Vita is about to get a remaster, so you can probably skip that one.

I'm sticking with Citra for now since I still have that. It does the job until I run into a major problem ive yet to hit
Yeah, there weren't actually many incompatible games on the emulator. It was mostly fine.

Admittedly, I recorded it on pc, so Android may still be a bit choppy. I have no way of knowing, since my phone is a dinosaur.

It was ported to other systems, including pc.

Yeah, controls are always an issue with Nintendo consoles. The 3DS isn't as bad as the Wii, but some games will always be a hassle to set up.

No, but currently Lime3DS is the best.

Dragon Quest 8 was originally on PS2 before getting a 3DS port.
Is the performance on Android the same?
That's highly dependent on your phone's specs. I imagine a mid-range Android device can handle these games just fine.
