Simply underscores the message: People are moved by emotions not facts. If the story is moving, it doesn't matter what the facts are. If the facts were all that mattered, no one would smoke cigarettes after seeing the graphic warning labels on them.
Use it as a metaphor if u dont believe it... would u ever set foot on the moon? In other words... would u ever achieve something as unthinkable as having a footprint on the moon?
