Recovery time of SMAS lifting is around 3 to 4 weeks. The incisions are done above your hair line and extended along the natural creases of your skin and curve around your ears

This treatment works well for sagging and loose skin so it would definitely help tighten. However it cannot change the shape of your jaw. If you are looking for a non surgical option then botox would be a possibility for you
