Thanks for this video. It confirmed my decision not to even bother with the demo, and not to buy this game. I was playing the original Test Drive on Commodore64 and was looking forward to this coming out. The first sign of trouble for me the requirement for an account even for playing the demo. Na-ah. Gonna wait for JDM (Japanese Drift Master) to come out. At least the demo of that one felt like honest fun.
you just did this video to hate on tdu sc wow... im also not impressed by the demo but you play this game on low setting and rant about any thing. this video is very biased.
I had to run on medium settings because the game is optimized like dogwater. Look at my assetto corsa settings for reference they are all maxed. I have a rtx3060 and a ryzen 7 3700x with 64gb of ram. It runs like ass even on medium settings. And multiple people have said the same so maybe you have some confirmation bias? I've also played the first 2 games which have their own issues. The original tdu struggles to run on multi core systems which is why I use a second pc to run it on. And tdu2 struggles with modern graphics cards and has a map freeze when using modern ddr6 cards. These games always have their little issues. But tdusc ran poorly, was optimized poorly, had terrible servers and ai and lacks features that the first 2 games had. And why would I be biased and what would I be biased to. I voiced MY grievances with the game. Someone else's experience may be different. Thank you for taking time out of your day to watch it and do take care mate.
the driving felt good imo, but it was so badly optimized that the game couldn't even render the world in time so I just got stuck there until the game loads next 100meters and freezes again.. and there are plenty of games that look and run better... but honestly I did enjoy it when it ran smooth, and overall I can see it being fun after proper optimization and buyable properties
My issue was with the ffb settings on my g29 so I played on controller it needs tweaking g but the driving itself is fine just needs more steering angle

No reflections in the rain
To be fair I had to run the game on medium cause it ran like cheeks on ultra
Looks so bad. And I don't mean the graphics, like, whatever, I mean overall. I was so excited for this... what a shame
I played for minutes and uninstalled. Captures nothing of the old Test Drive unlimited series.
The first game has the best handling and the second has the best overall vibe
Are there cop chases in this game?
nope
@@huyra8019 Very sad, but maybe in the full version, lets see
